Lesson 15 Winter Fun

(一)教学目标

1.知识与技能:

1、用简单的句子描述如何堆雪人。

2、了解堆雪人的过程,并能用所学英语进行描述。

2.情感态度:

通过有趣的活动培养同学们热爱生活,热爱自然地感情。

3.学习策略:

培养学生的逻辑思维能力,善于运用语言的能力。

(二)教学的重、难点

运用“Why?”“Because…”进行交流。能够运用“First”“Then”对堆雪人的过程进行描述,并能在实际生活中进行表达。

(三)学生的分析:

本课的教学对象是小学六年级的学生。他们对英语的一些基础知识已经有所掌握,并且具备了一定的口语表达能力。

(四)内容分析:

本课是六年级上册第三单元中的第15课,是一篇阅读课,形象生动地展示了冬天堆雪人的快乐场景,趣味性强但又不乏教育意义。

(五)课时安排:一课时(40分钟)

(六)教学手段:多媒体课件、单词卡片,泥,胡萝卜,小石子,树枝等实物等

(七)板书设计:How to make a snowman? First…then…

教学过程:

Step I.Class Opening. (10minutes).Free talk:

T: We know there are four seasons in a year. What are they?

S:They are spring, summer, fall and winter.

T: How’s the weather in spring/summer/fall/winter?

S: In spring, the weather is warm and rainy. In summer, the weather is hot and sunny. In fall, the weather is cool and windy. In winter, the weather is cold and snowy.

T: In these seasons, I like winter best. Why? Because In winter, there is ice and snow. I can do many things.I like to skate on the ice.and I like to ski on the snow.And I can make a snowman. Do you know what it is? (出示雪人课件)and introduce snowman. Explain This is a snowman.and These are snowmen.

T: I like to make snowmen in winter. This is my winter fun.引课题,并出示本课学习目标。(设计意图:开头以自由会话的形式导入本课,既给了学生练习口语的机会,又复习了前面学过的内容,同时提高了学生综合运用英语的能力。)

T:I think everyone of us has a favourite season.Can you tell us?What’s your favourite?and why.

T:What’s your favour ite season?Why?

S:My favourite is spring.Because the weather is warm and rainy.

(设计意图:培养学生用“why”和“because”进行交流表达)

Step2(20minutes):

1.T: Do you know what are Jenny and Li Ming doing? Now, let’s have a look! Please listen

to the dilogue, then find the anwers:

(1)What do they do first?

(2)How many snowballs does the snowman have?

2.T:Do you know what do they use for the snowman’s mouth、nose 、eyes and ears? Does a sowman have arms or legs?Let’s listen again.

(设计意图:让学生带着问题去听文本,激发他们的学习欲望,锻炼听说能力)

3.学生观看本课多媒体视频。Listen and watch how to make a snowman。And then say how to make a snowman with your partners using first…then…(设计意图:使学生一目了然地清楚制作雪人的过程,为后面自己动手制作雪人做铺垫.)

4.Read after the radio.(设计意图:模仿语音语调,培养学生的语感)

Step3 Class closing(2minutes):let’s sing(设计意图:让学生们在愉快的氛围中结束本课的学习)
