M1U1 Seeing and hearing The 1st period Contents: GP+M1U1 Sub-topic: Going around Sub-task: To know the way people go to places by doing a survey Background study and material analysis:
The students have learned a lot about seeing and hearing, such as I can see… I can hear… They are also familiar about the ways of different transportations. So the main target of the lesson is to help the students get the new words about different places and practice the pattern: How do you go to the department store? I go to ….by…. is the main task of the lesson.
Learning objectives: To enrich the English words of different ways of transportation
To use modeled patterns to talk about how to get to one place
To learn the sound of “ch”
