Purpose 歌曲引入，激发兴趣，复习学校场所的表达及there be 句型的使用，

导入故事背景。

1-1 Listen to Mr Owl 由故事中的人物来介绍故事背景，使学生更好的带入到故事情节中。

从故事角色入手，逐步展开故事教学。

通过创设动物运动会的情境，把故事分成Swimming , Climbing, Running等三种比赛，激发学生兴趣。

角色扮演，让学生亲身体验，感受和运用语言。

从听到看再到读，学生从感受语言到学习再到运用语言，层层深入。

运用评价体系，让学生明确朗读的注意事项。

提供不同的场景练习，体现语用。
