Step 1 Warm-up

2. Sing the “Good morning” song together.

Step 2 Presentation

1.Show the pictures printed with book , pencil, desk, marker, chair, table, book bag one by one T asks: what’s this? It’s a book\pencil\desk\marker\chair\table\book bag 2. Have the students read after the teacher. T: book\ book in slow and quick speed T: says pencil in low voice. Ss say pencil in loud voice. T says desk\desk in different intonation

3. I point, I say.

Write the sentence”what’s this?” on the blackboard.

Point the real things with asking “what’s this?” and answer them.

Have Ss listen to me carefully.

Step 3 Practice and Production

Game1: I say, you show Teacher says the words and the students point the real things.

E.g. Teacher says book, student take out the book and say book.

Game2: I show, you say.

Have the Ss answer as fast as possible.

E.g. Teacher the picture of table and students say it’s a table.

(Which group will be faster? Group1\Group2)

Step 4 Extension

1.Turn back to the book, exercise 7 on page 5 draw and answer

2. Have the student to ask their partners what’s the picture with the question “what’s this?

Write 5 questions “what’s this?” and write 5 answers with “it’s a …”.
