、教学目标 1 知识目标

(1) 学生能够复习和巩固句型： The singing test will be on May 4th. I cant``` I want to ```(2) 学生能够通过图片和上下文拓展理解新句子 Practice makes perfect. Will you caome to the party···? I want to practise my song等。

2 能力目标

(1) 学生能够在教师和图片的帮助下听懂，理解故事大意。

(2) 学生能够用正确的语音语调流利地朗读故事。

（3）学生能够复述并表演故事。

3 情感态度及价值观

学生能够大胆面对挑战，明白“熟能生巧”的道理。

、学情分析

五年级学生的年龄在十一到十二岁左右,虽然处于高年级学段,但仍然活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维和抽象思维相结合。故事是学生喜爱的题材，这篇故事贴近学生生活，内容难易适中，很能吸引学生的学习兴趣。

三、重点难点

教学重点：1.学生能够听懂并理解故事内容。2. 学生能够复述并表演故事；

教学难点：1.文本材料中一些单词的理解，practise、practice; 2..复述并表演故事。

五、教学流程：

Step 1 Pre-reading (1) Greetings. (2) Revision. (3) Free talk T: What day is it today?

What’s the date today?

How about this day? (教师出示一张日历，上面用圈画出5月4号的日期) 学生齐读日期: It’s May fourth. T：Good! This day is a special day.Do you know why? 学生猜测原因。

T：OK.Now we will see a video.After the video, I think you will find the answer. Step 2 While-reading (1) 学生听一遍录音，回答之前教师提问：

The singing test will be on May 4th. T：Yes! Can you tell me who are in the story just now? (2) 学生回答老师问题，再次看一次故事视频核对答案，并回答新问题。

学生回答问题，教师理出主题句：Practice makes perfect. 教读句子并讲授Practice及Practise的区别。

(3) T:What does Zoom’s friends ask Zoom to do? Please read paragraph 2 and 4. Let’s match. 学生阅读第2-4幅图片，完成连线任务。
