Step I : Warming up and revision.
1. Put some number cards on the Bb.(Don’t show the words to the Ss. ) Let Ss guess them . Then read them together.

2 .Let 5 Ss come to the Bb to put down the numbers 1-5 and take it in their hands, stand in the line . Then T says : “ XXX

is the fifth .” (老师说的过程中,把单词的另一半展开,既1---first=1st,
2--second=2nd---------5-- fifthth.并且点名后边的词是前边的序数词) 3.

为流利表达日期做好铺垫。
StepII : Presentation
1.T takes out a calender and points to the date “15” and says:
“It is May 15th” .Then write “May”on the Bb
Read and spell.

设计意图:创设情境,借助
calendar给学生提供具体的语言素材
,日期的应用作为贯穿全课的情境主线,让学生利用calendar能够始终在真实的情境中感知语言并进而运用英语进行交流。最后利用ppt提供语言知识的应用,使学生说有可依。
StepIII:
Practice

Ask and answer questions. T- S1, T- S2. Then the students practice in pairs.

7. Make a dialogue in pairs, using the two sentences above.
Then check some pairs.
设计意图:运用课件创设情境,为学生提供大量的语言材料,让学生有语言支撑,能够大胆地自信地主动运用英语进行交流。教学活动由易到难,学生能力在不知不觉中逐渐得到培养和提高。
StepIV: Consolidation.
1.Play the tape twice (p62). Ss listen and fill in the blanks according to what they hear.
