2.sentence patterns :

Where is your book ?

It’s on the able .

What olour is your bag ?

My bag is blue /red…

Teaching important and difficult points :

1.Be able to read and write these words.

2.Be able to use these sentence patterns and make dialogues. Teaching procedures :

Step 1. warming ---up

At first,the teacher says“Where is my book? Where is my book?...”all the way. Then he looks up his book ask his students help him. At last ,the students know the mean of this sentence.

Step 2 reading

T: My boys and girls ,do you know the mean of “Where is your book ?” Do you know how to answer it?

S: No,I don’t know.

T: Please look at the blackboard.

It’s on the table/chair…

What colour is your bag?

It’s blue/red…

The teacher make action,the students guess the mean of the sentence .Then say them out loudly.

The students read the sentence after the teacher again and again.

Step 3. listening

Listen to the tape 1a – 1b.

Step 4. practicing

Ask students use the new sentence patterns and make a dialogue.Work in pairs,then act it out.

Step 5 consolidation
