一、课题：

译林小学英语五年级下册Unit 7 Chinese festivals Story time 二、单元简解：

本单元的主题是中国的四个重要节日。课前教师可要求学生搜集一些关于中国的传统节日的信息，包括日期、食物和活动等。本单元除了要学习节日名词和食物之外，还包括十二个月份。

本单元的重点句型有两个：The spring festival is in January or February. People eat dumplings at this festival.分别用来表达节日的日期和描述人们在不同节日里的活动和庆祝方式。

三、目标预设：

1. 能听懂、会说、会读单词 Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Double Ninth Festival, a rice cake, dumplings等。

2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词 January, February, May, June, September, October等。

3. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型 The Spring Festival is in January or February. People eat dumplings at this festival. 四、重点、难点：重点 1.能初步听懂、会拼读单词：Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Double Ninth Festival, a rice cake, dumplings 2.能初步会说Spring Festival is in January or February. People eat dumplings at this festival. 五、设计理念：

1、“以学定教、以学生发展为本”、“让学引思”的课堂理念。

本节课的设计理念是本着课改理念进行设计的，所谓的“让学引思”，是指让学生亲历学习过程、引发、引导、引领学生思考的课堂。发挥学生主体作用，让学生成为课堂真正的主人，体现“学生主学、老师助学”的教学观，帮助学生优化自学质疑、交流展示、合作探究等学习策略，有效达成学习目标，不断提高学生自能分析与解决问题的能力。

2、小学英语语篇教学“整体性”教学理念

学生的阅读技能只能在完整的篇章阅读中取得。把单词融入到句子中，从整体入手，展现给学生一个完整的语言概念。语篇作为第一课时教学，首先让学生泛读，进一步提高捕捉信息的能力。从整体入手，把语言作为一个整体来教，同时在处理语篇中的单词和句型时，一定要注意适度原则。

六、设计思路：

热身环节：先通过歌曲回顾上册学过的西方国家的节日Christmas。接着通过展示和带读跟中国节日有关的一些词汇，来引出课题,并让学生说一说自己知道的其它中国节日来给学生进行相关的拓展。

课文学习环节：让学生泛读文章，尝试解决课本70页的练习。老师再用三个问题引导学生理解第一个中国节日之后，其余三个节日由学生自主学习，完成表格，进行汇总，并用自己的语言汇报。之后，通过各种形式的读课文和玩“Find your group”游戏,把各个节日的细节整理归纳在一起。再让学生进行自我评价。

七、教学过程：

教师随机在一些学生的背后贴上节日、月份、活动和食物的卡片，让学生以最快的速度找到自己所在节日相对应的所有组员，时间用的最少的获胜。
