一、教学内容：

Unit8 At Christmas story time 二、教学目标：

1.能理解故事大意，能朗读故事并尝试根据提示复述故事。

2.能听懂、会说、会读单词及词组：Christmas, presents, Christmas tree, Father Christmas, pretty, thing, Christmas Eve, stocking, wait for, turkey, pudding, have a good time. 3.能运用buy、put等动词及短语描述圣诞节的有关活动。

4.能按照时间的先后顺序运用重点句型first、next、then、finally描述圣诞活动。

三、教学重难点：

四、教学过程：

Step1:Free talk T:Good morning boys and girls!say hello to the teachers in the back of our classroom ok? T:At the beginning of the class,I want to let you watch a video,please look at the screen. Step2:Presentation 1.Show the title T:Well,Can you guess what we’ll learn this class?Yes,today we’re going to learn Unit8 At Christmas.(板书) T:Christmas Day is pupolar in western countries.It likes our Chinese New Year.They’re both the traditional festivals.

T:Now, this is a calendar,Do you know when is Christmas Day. 2.Guess something about Chhristmas T:Do you know anything more about Christmas? By you thingking guess what do people do/eat at Christmas? You can say like this:At Christmas, people……

Look, I have some pictures for you to describe Christmas.Can you say something about them? Teach: Father Christmas/presents/Christmas tree/stocking/Christmas card/Christmas pudding/turkey 3. 30-second non-stop talking T:This part you have 30 seconds to say something about Christmas as quickly as you can, Each group can get 1 star if you say more in 30 seconds. 4.Look and say

T:This is Mike.According to Mike’s pictures talk about Mike’s Christmas fun（板书）

in pairs.Try to figure out who are they? Where are they?What are they doing? 5.Listen and tick T:Listen to the radio, then tick Mike’s fun which you heard just right..（板书一部分Mike的圣诞趣事）

6.Let’s read a.Read by yourselves for one minute. b.Read and underline. T:Read the two paragraph we left, underline Mike’s Christmas fun.（板书剩下的Mike的圣诞趣事）

Learn:stocking T:This part what’s the Mike’s Christmas fun?(put a stocking on our beds/wait for presents) Teach:Christmas Eve(show a calendar to compare with Christmas Day) T:This is the last part,please use the way to find out what’s the fun? 7.Read and think T:Think carefully what words were used for Mike to order his Christmas fun. Teach:First/Next/Then/Finally(板书）

T:Look at the blackboard, It’s a lot of fun about Mike’s, Think and say when dose Mike do them? Step3:Practice 1.Let’s read a.Choose one method to read story time. b.Listen to the tape and after it. Step4:Consolidation 1.Let’s talk T: Well,can you make a dialogue like this form to say about Helen and Tim’s Christmas fun? 2.People’s fun T:Actully up to now we have finished today’s our text study about Mike’s Christmas fun.

设计理念及思路

本节课的话题是圣诞节，我讲的是第八单元第一课时Story time部分. 而我的大致思路是先通过Mike的圣诞趣事延伸到不同年龄儿童的圣诞趣事，再上升至人们的圣诞趣事，一步一步给学生加深对圣诞节的理解，表达圣诞节日的精神是分享爱。

课前我通过一则短片让学生了解本节课的话题，以此揭开题目。并进行圣诞节知识延伸。圣诞节是西方国家的传统节日，就像中国人过春节一样，圣诞节的氛围影响着每个人。

接着让学生通过回忆短片或者根据自己所对圣诞节的理解自由讨论话题”What do people eat/do at Christmas?”，并提供本课单词和词组图片给学生联系知识点进行讨论。由此延伸到Mike的圣诞趣事进入课文学习。在此环节中我先设计通过带着问题观察图片，对图片进行要点梳理初步了解Mike的圣诞趣事，接着布置任务让学生听录音勾出前两部分部分Mike的圣诞趣事。

进入后两部分课文学习时，我是让学生先各自细读剩余两段，划出Mike的圣诞趣事。然后全班一起解决课文中的知识点。到这儿为止关于Mike的圣诞趣事的全篇课文已学习结束。

接下来留给学生思考的是语法学习，即Mike在表达自己圣诞趣事时用了哪些词使自己的表述更加的有条理。由此强调学习了First/Next/Then/Finally四个单词。

操练环节，我设计了两个不同年龄孩子的圣诞趣事，我提供出相应的图片，让学生用本课所学的句型来描述自行选择一个来描述它们，以加强学生对课文句型的运用。

通过以上环节自然过渡到人们的圣诞趣事，告诉学生圣诞节不仅仅只有课文中提到的一些圣诞趣事。还有人们共同庆祝的一些活动如：去教堂祷告、唱圣诞颂歌、举行圣诞聚会、拉彩纸爆竹、寄圣诞贺卡等等，表达人们对圣诞精神的美好向往。最后以分享爱，得到爱！作为本课话题延伸完美结束整节课的学习。
