教学目标：

1 知识目标：

（1）使学生四会有关圣诞节的单词: Christmas , Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Santa， holiday. （2）使学生能够自己组织语言正确描述有关圣诞节的知识: What’s Christmas?

Why is it special? What do people do on Christmas? 2能力目标：

（1）培养学生对语言的归纳和运用能力。

（2）培养学生听音做事情的能力。

3情感目标：使学生了解有关西方国家最盛大的节日---- 圣诞节，培养学生乐于了解和学习说英语国家的一些文化背景，培养学生的跨文化意识。 二

教学重点：

四会掌握Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Santa 等词组和单词。

让学生自己组织语言对有关圣诞节的一些事情的描述。

学生准备：提前收集有关圣诞节的一些资料。

教学过程：

新授：

（一）从四个节日引入新授单词holidays T: Now, class. Please look at the pictures. What are they? Do you know?

（课件依次呈现四个节日的图片和单词：Children’s Day, National Day, New Year’s Day,

Teachers’ Day）

T: They are all holidays. Holiday, do you know? Can you guess?

(教师利用单词卡片领读并拼读单词holiday) T: Do you know some other holidays? （二）学习单词Christmas T: Look at the picture, this is another holiday. Do you know?

T: Yes, it’s Christmas.

(教师利用单词卡片领读并拼读单词Christmas) T: Today, we’ll learn a new lesson. Lesson 25: Christmas Is Coming. This is the first lesson of

Unit 4. In this unit, we’ll learn something about Christmas. Christmas is a very important

holiday in Western countries. Do you know something about Christmas? You can say it in Chinese. （三）学习Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Santa, special. T: Class . Look, what are they? Do you know?

（课件出示Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Santa, 教师利用单词卡片领读并拼读单词）

（在学习单词的过程中，可适当提问：Is the Christmas tree beautiful? Where are the Christmas lights? What colour are the Santa’s clothes? What’s in Santa’s bag? What do we say on Christmas?等等。）

T: We have Christmas trees, Christmas lights and Santa on Christmas. So, Christmas is special. Special, can you guess? What’s the meaning? （四）听、读课文第一部分，并讨论，回答问题

T: T: Now, please listen to the audiotape carefully. During listening, please think about the 3 questions:

1 What’s Christmas?

2 Why is Christmas special?

3 Who is Santa?

(采取听-----跟读----讨论回答问题的步骤) （五）学习第二部分：

T: Now, Let’s go on to learn the second part of this lesson. First look at your books, try to find out the new words that you don’t understand.

（学生找出不懂的单词之后，教师逐一地进行领读，使学生初步感知，并能认读）

T: You can learn this part by yourselves. Try to find the answer of this question: What do

people do on Christmas? T: Let’s listen and read. 三Homework: Draw a picture about the Christmas. You can draw a Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Santa,

the gifts or the people singing carols. Then write a sentence for your picture. Take your

picture here next class. We’ll talk about them. OK?

课后反思：

这节课的教学我尽量让学生在多种情境、任务中学习，在英语学习中实践、走进生活，开阔视野，对英语学习产生兴趣。给学生说的机会，然他们体会快感，用英语感受生活，并形成深切的渴望。改变评价方式，参与互动，用生动的语言让学生对英语学习充满自信，教师要做的更多的是表扬和夸奖，发现学生的优点和长处。教学不单是教师的个人行为，也需要更多是学生的广泛参与。学生不但要学会知识，而更重要的是学会学习，发挥个人潜能，创造性的学习

。学生只有对自己、对英语及其文化有积极的情态，才能保持英语学习的动力并取得成绩，刻板的情态，不仅会影响英语学习的效果，还会影响其它发展，情态是学好英语的重要因素，因此我努力创造宽松民主、和谐的教学空间，做到：

1、尊重每个学生，积极鼓励他们在学习中的尝试，保护他们的自尊心和积极性。

2、把英语教学与情态有机地结合起来，创造各种合作学习的活动，促进学生互相学习，互相帮助，体验成就感，发展合作精神。

3、关注学习有困难的或性格内向的学生，尽可能地为他们创造讲话的机会。

4、建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道，经常和学生一起反思学习过程和学习效果，互相鼓励和帮助，做到教学相关。
