Unit 5 What do they do 一、单元内容分析：

本单元话题是职业名称和工作内容，同时继续呈现了动词的一般现在时第三人称单数形式和用法。教学重点是职业单词和句型what do they do?He what does he/she do?及其回答i’m/he’s/she’s...教师可以利用第四单元hobbies展开话题。在语法教学时，教师可将五上unit3 \unit4中likes用法作为话题引入活动，为学生学习更多动词的第三人称单数形式做好准备。教师在讲解动词加“s”“es”转换成为第三人称单数形式时，可以给出多个实例。让学生自己总结转换规律。

二、学生情况分析：（学生学习基础和学习状态）

学生对于职业比较有兴趣的，文章通过Su Hai和Mike的叙述介绍职业，教师可以问问学生父母的职业和想做的职业，试着描述工作内容。根据各班情况补充一些常见的或是学生有兴趣的职业，提高学生的学习兴趣。

三、教学目标：

6.在朗读和模仿中，能听懂，会说y在单词中的读音，能发音准确。
