（一）知识技能目标：

1、能听、说、认、读单词rabbit、duck、turtle、chicken 、snake 、small和

2、能听懂、能实际运用句型:I have a chicken. It’s yellow. （二）能力目标：

T: Yes. They are at the zoo. Do you like them? Do you want to take them home and keep them at your home?

T: Do you know what animals can be kept at home and what can’t?

T: you are all very clever! So the animals can be kept at homes we call them “PETS”.

Presentation: 1. New words teaching and practicing: T: Now I have five animals. Each group can get one to keep. (1)chicken:

Practice: say a chant Chicken, chicken, a small chicken. Chicken, chicken, a yellow chicken. Chicken, chicken, it can sing. Chicken, chicken, I like a chicken. (2) In the same to teach the following words: turtle, rabbit, snake, duck

(1)play a guess game:

①T: I have a pet. It’s small. It’s brown. It’s clever. It can climb trees. It likes bananas. Can you guess what is it? Meanwhile write down the main sentences on the blackboard: It’s __________.

②Each group describe one animal and let other students guess.

Make a chant. Show the chant of pets again. Give some adj. words and let the Ss make a new chant about rabbit. They can choose their favorite one to talk about.

(3)Read and learn the text. Play the video about the text. Then have Ss read after the tape.

在前面的学习中已经熟悉chant的结构,此处让学生创编,有了前面的铺垫,此处的学习水到渠成,气氛轻松。
