Step 1 Warm-up

They live in the river. T: What are they? Ss: They are tadpoles. T: Yes, you are clever. Show the tadpoles, stick the tadpoles on the blackboard. T:Let’s see which team can get more tadpoles.

Step 2 New knowledge.

Show the tadpoles.

The tadpoles are sad. Why? ·Watch the video and think about the question. T: After watching, who can tell me why the tadpoles are sad? Ss: Because they can not find their mother.

T: Yes , you are right. And what are they doing?

Ss: They are looking for their mother.

T: You are very good. But how do they look for their mother? Now let’s watch again. ·Watch the video again. Ask and answer:

——What animals do the tadpoles meet? ——A dog, a cat, a goose, a snake and a frog. ……

T: Yes, you are so good. So who is the tadpoles’ mother?

Ss: The frog. (Stick the frog on the blackboard.)

Step 3 Listen to the story and repeat sentence by sentence. . ·

Put the sentences cards on the blackboard.

Fill in the blanks.

Ask and answer: ——What does the frog look like? ——She is short and small. She has big eyes. She can swim.

Step 4.

Act out. ·

Ask some kids to act the story with me. ·

Work in groups. ·

Act in front of the class, and have a competition.

Step 5 What’s the title of the story?

Ask some children to share their ideas..

Step 6 Enjoy some pictures. Some pictures about the animals family. Now the tadpoles find their mother, and they become frogs, too. They live together. We also have a family. Please love our mother and father, love our family.

Step 7. Homework

Act the whole story in groups.

《Story Time》课后反思

本课是绘本故事教学，在本课中，我采用的是歌曲导入，这首关于动物的歌曲孩子们朗朗上口，再加上我为孩子们编排的动作，能让孩子们迅速进入到学习状态。再用一个猜蝌蚪的游戏将孩子分为两组。黑板上画出两个池塘，将制作的小蝌蚪教具贴在黑板的池塘里，看看哪组得到的蝌蚪多。精美的教具吸引了孩子们的注意，鼓舞了学习的动力，有趣的猜谜游戏也让孩子们迅速投入，兴趣高涨。接着抛出问题“为什么蝌蚪们不高兴？”引导孩子们来观看故事动画，带着问题观看，更加认真专注。接着提出有关视频的问题，孩子们也能踊跃的回答。再次观看，让孩子了解故事的具体内容，抓出句型“Are you our mother?”, ”No, your mother is…“通过问答练习，掌握句子，并熟悉故事细节。之后再听读就非常容易，孩子们信心十足。这样由词到句，再由句到篇，层层递进，学起来非常轻松。游戏和分角色表演也达到了对故事进巩固的目的。本节课孩子们几乎都掌握了故事的情节和句型，能自主阅读和表演，达到了教学目的。最后拓展部分选出几张野生动物和父母在一起的图片，呼吁孩子们爱爸爸妈妈，爱家人，引起了孩子们的共鸣。
