课题:五年级下册UNIT 1 Keeping Healthy Teaching aims：1.Help students understand the new words , stomachache , headache ,toothache.

2.help students use the knowledge to communicate with each other. Key point: help student use the new knowledge correctly. Different point: help students use the sentence to greet with each other. Teaching material: a cassette tape, nurse cap, picture , nurse clothes.

Teaching steps: Step1 revision and warmer 1,ask students”

If we want to keep healthy ,what should/shouldn’t we do?

2,then write the words on the blackboard.

Step 2:new lesson

1,ask students look at picture A through the blackboard .and ask the questions: Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? What’s wrong with Frank? Ask the students to guess the information about Part A 2.Ask students listen to the tape and understand this dialogue(1 time)

Ask students listen to the tape twice and answer the question which we have put forward.(2 times)

Ask students “what’s wrong with

Frank?”

and check out their answers.(3 times) 3.then teachers put the pictures on the blackboard and explain the new words. Tell students how to pronounce the word.” Stomachache ”and divide the words with color pens. One is stomach

and the other is ache. Explain each meaning of them. Then extend the two words “headache” and “toothache”. 4.read the text and ask students : --what should Frank do? --what shouldn’t Frank do?

5.then the students fill the blank by themselves on part A—2 And ask them to share their answers with everyone. 6.ask students to listen to the tape and read after it . 7.ask students to complete part C

Step 3: activities Students act the dialogue out while put the nurse cloth on.

Step 4:sum up 1.

revise the words we have learn this class 2.

describe what should we do when we got ill.

Step 5: homework Remember the new words and drills. Recite the text and act it out.
