一、
教学目标
1.
知识目标
(1)
能听、说、认、读单词
lovely, strong, tall, short, beautiful. (2)
能听懂,实际运用句型:What animal do you like best?
I like… best.
2. 能力目标:培养学生的语言智力,通过各种有意义的活动使学生掌握单词和句型,使他们能根据自己的喜好,运用所学句型进行交流。
3. 情感目标
(1)通过单词,句型的学习以及情景教学,激发学生爱护动物,热爱大自然的美好情感。
(2)培养学生学习英语的兴趣,创设轻松愉快,生动活泼的课堂气氛,使学生乐于学习。

教学重难点
教学重点:能听、说、认、读以下单词和句型。
(1)lovely, strong, tall, short, beautiful;
(2)What animal do you like best? I like… best.
教学难点:能根据自己的喜好,灵活运用What animal do you like best? I like… best.句型进行交流。

教学过程
Step 1
Free talk 1.T: Hello, boys and girls! Ss: Hello, Miss Mu. T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. T: Boys and girls, you know, I am your English teacher today.

I’d like to know something about you.
T: What’s your name? How old are you? Where are you from? What do you like? Do you like animals/ cat/ dog/ elephant? 2. T: All of you like animals, let’s go and see animals. Stand up , boys and girls, walk, jump, run, walk.(TPR) Here we are.(多媒体出示动物动画)
T: What are these/those?
What else do you want to see? 【设计意图:自然谈话导入,拉近师生距离,复习旧识,运用TPR活跃氛围,多媒体创设情境,为本节课的学习做铺垫,体现语言渐进性和交际性原则。】
Step 2
Presentation and practice 1.T: A-ha, so many animals, I like tigers, I like dogs, I like cats, but I like …best. They are in the bag. T: I like…Er, You are so smart. You may guess! Listen: They have four legs, they are black and white, they have big eyes and short ears. They are from Sichuan. T: What are they?
Ss: ….. T: Right, Pandas, I like pandas best. (板书句子I like…best.) 【设计意图:利用猜的方式抓住学生的好奇心和兴趣点,促使学生倾听,理解和思考,引出句型I like…best, 猜一猜也为学生后面的编一编,写一写埋下伏笔。】
2. Show pandas. (出示熊猫实物) Look, this is Tuantuan , it’s very strong, this is Yuanyuan, it’s very beautiful, and this is their baby, it’s lovely. Teach:
(1).Fellow me: lovely, strong, beautiful.

How to spell lovely/ strong/ beautiful? (2). Take out your paper: Match and write the words. 【设计意图:通过介绍大熊猫团团,圆圆引出本课三个新单词lovely, strong, beautiful.体现语言的整体性原则,并通过单词的拆分、拼读、连线和书写等活动来巩固目标单词。】
3. Let’s do and say Tall, short, big, small, long, beautiful, lovely, strong. 【设计意图:本环节主要是复习形容词,TPR活动适合学生好动的年龄特点,寓教于乐。】
4. Match and say. 5. T: I like pandas best, they’re black and white, they are so lovely. What about you? What animal do you like best? (板书:What animal do you like best? ) S1: I like…best. T: Why, why do you like them? S1: They are very strong. 【设计意图:根据学生的年龄特点,直观地将动物与其特征展示给学生,建立单词与语篇表述的支架。】

Learn to say T: We are talking about the animals we like best, Lu Hua, Lucy, and Duxiaomao, Stanley and HaoTian are talking about animals, too. But what animal does lucy like best? What animal does Stanley like best? Yes, you are right! But how do they talk? Listen carefully. T: Who can have a try?(对学生的发言进行反馈Not bad, very good.) 【设计意图:回归文本。通过问题的层层深入,让学生知道该篇对话说了什么,获取信息;还引导学生发现这篇对话是怎么说的,深刻的理解课文。】

B: How about you? A: ………………………., they………….. 2. Do a survey. 【设计意图:学生根据提供的语言框架自由、开放的交流,表达自己的喜好,是语言内化的一个过程,同时满足不同层次学生的需求。】
3. Write a riddle.(编一编,写一写). 【设计意图:对本课所学知识进一步拓展和延伸,让学生够着“摘桃子”吃。(课堂时间不够时也可作为家庭作业。)】

【设计意图:情感升华,爱护和保护动物。】
