Lesson 19 教学设计

教学目标

1.知识目标:掌握四会单词January和February,以及四会句子January is the first month of the year.

February is the second month of the year.能够理解文章内容,了解节日 New Year's Day和Spring Festival; 2.能力目标:能够用本课所学习的句型描述元旦和中国春节的传统文化。

3.情感态度目标:通过学习本课,帮助学生了解自己国家的传统文化，拓展学生的知识面，培养学生热爱祖国的美好情操。

学情分析

六年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用。他们这个阶段的儿童容易为一些新奇刺激的事物所吸引。在记忆方面,这个年龄段的孩子的有意识记逐渐占据主导地位,即使是抽象材料也能花功夫努力记住,并能自觉检查记忆的效果。他们记忆发展的另一特点是从机械识记向意义识记发展。六年级的学生已经具备了初步的运用英语进行交际的能力,在前一个单元学生们学习了有关生日话题的内容,对月份已经有了一定的知识基础,因此,教学中我注重通过创设情境等方法激发他们学习的兴趣,通过词句的反复训练和感知来习得语言的综合运用能力。

重点难点

1. 学习关于月份和节日的单词January, February, New Year’s Day和

Spring Festival,以及基础句型：January is the first month of the year.

February is the second month of the year. 2.有关一月、二月的活动的节日以及在每个节日人们的活动的英文表达。
