一、教学内容：

译林版小学英语五下Unit5 Helping our parents (Story time) Period 1 二、教学目标；

1.能听得懂、会读、会说单词和词组clean, cook, busy, parent, sweet ,sweep the floor, wash the dishes 2.能听懂、会读、会说句型和日常交际用语What are you /they doing? I am/We are/They are cleaning the table. He/She is making the bed. 3.能正确理解故事内容，并能用正确的语音语调朗读课文. 4.能听懂和运用现在进行时. 5.通过课文的学习，能理解父母的辛劳，帮助父母做一些力所能及的事情. 三、教学重、难点：

难点：

现在分词的变形规律，以及读音和运用. 四、教学准备：

多媒体课件、板书、学生做家务的图片

五、教学过程：

Step1 导入活动：

1.Play a game:

让学生快速说出多媒体上跳动的家务短语. Sweep the floor ,make the bed, clean the table, wash the dishes..... 2.

Let’s read the words 带领学生朗读并写出动词的现在分词形式.

Step2

Ask and answer 1.

多媒体呈现出班级学生在家做家务的图片，一位同学问，另一位回答. 如：What is he/she(name) doing ? ---He is doing......

She is doing .............. What are they doing ? They are doing.......

Step3 新授活动

Read and learn

1.Helping our parents

(story time) 播放多媒体课文视频，让学生跟读。

Think and answer: What is Mike going to tell us？

同学们自己花5分钟阅读课文，回答问题。

What are they doing in the morning?

What are they doing in the afternoon? Think and answer：

Is Tim helping his parents in the morning or afternoon? Why?
