The Ss in Grade 4 have been learning English for 1 year. So they have some basic English background knowledge. And they can have some simple communication with each other. But most of them are afraid of memorizing the words. It’s easy for them to forget because they don’t master the spelling rules. As the children of grade4, they are active and curious. They are interested in the new things. However, some of them are still too shy to talk. So T should let Ss be the main stream of the class, and design a series of games, activities, create a proper situation to encourage them to read and talk.
