Unit 4 When is Easter 第1课时教案

教材来源:小学五年级《英语》人教PEP教科书——下册 主题：Unit 4 Part A Let’s Learn & Ask and answer

授课对象：五年级学生 目标确定的依据 1、教材分析：这是本单元的第一课时。“Let’s learn”

为词汇学习课，通过学习五个序数词来进一步学习如何询问并回答节日与活动的日期。

为以上知识的应用。 2、学情分析：在三年级上册、下册Unit6中，学生学过1-20的数字类单词（基数词），在四年级下册Unit1中，学生学习了first floor和second floor，并在五年级下册Unit3中，学生已经学习过月份类单词，本节课将在学习1-5这五个序数词的基础上学习如何询问并回答节日与活动的日期。

教学目标 1. 能够听、说、读、写单词first，second，third，fourth，fifth等序数及其缩写形式。 2. 能够通过图片掌握相关活动English test, maths test, singing contest, school trip, sports meet, April Fool’s Day。 3. 能运用一般现在时特殊疑问句When is „句型，询问相关活动的发生日期，并能够运用It’s on +月份+序数词进行回答。 4. 能够用英语表达具体的活动日期。 5. 鼓励学生根据实际情况观察活动安排表，并运用目标语句进行对话练习。

评价任务 1.通过游戏“举一反三”来让学生听、说、读、写单词。（检测目标1的达成情况） 2. 通过游戏“Read quickly”来让学生掌握具体日期的表达方式。（检测目标2,3的达成情况） 3. 通过“Ask and answer”和“Pair work”来运用重点句型。（检测目标4，5的达成情况）

教学过程

I. Warm-up 1. Greetings T：Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Liu. T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you? T: Very well, thanks. .... 2. I can chant You have one, I have one You have one, I have one, two little children see the sun. You have two, I have two, four little children go to school. You have three, I have three, six little children plant a tree. You have four, I have four, eight little children go swimming. You have five, I have five, ten little children go to the library. 3.Review T: How many months in a year? Ss: Twelve. T: What are they? Look at the screen and read them together. Ss: ... II. Presentation 1. Learn the new words (1) Show a new school’s picture. There are many different rooms in the building. Use the sentence pattern to ask and answer in order to learn the new words. T: I have a good news. We’ll visit a new school. Let’s go. A. T: I want to read some books. Where should I go? Ss: Library. T: Where is the library? Ss: It’s on the first floor. Teacher shows the word cards and read this word. B.

T: It’s time for art class. Where should I go? Ss: Art room. T: Where is the art room? Ss: It’s on the second floor. Teacher shows the word cards and read this word. C. T: I want to say hello to our teachers. Where should I go? Ss: Teachers’ office. T: Where is the teachers’ office? Ss: It’s on the third floor. Teacher shows the word cards and read this word. D. T: It’s time for music class. Where should I go? Ss: Music room. T: Where is the music room? Ss: It’s on the fourth floor. Teacher shows the word cards and read this word. E. T: I want to play computer games. Where should I go? Ss: Computer room. T: Where is the computer room? Ss: It’s on the fifth floor. Teacher shows the word cards and read this word. (2) Match Show abbreviations of the ordinal numbers and choose some students to match. Then Ss concludes the rules(序数词的缩写形式是基数词+序数词的最后两个字母。) (3) Play game 游戏：举一反三 规则：教师说基数词，学生说序数词；教师说序数词，学生说基数词。如：教师说one，学生说first。 2. Learn the sentence pattern (1) I can guess T: It is in April.You can joke（开玩笑） on other people.(打一节日) Ss: April Fool’s Day. (2) Learn the sentence pattern

T: When is April Fool’s Day? Ss: It’s in April. T: It’s in or on April 1st. Ss: On. It’s on April 1st. （提醒学生月份前用in，但如果具体到某日，前面要用介词on）

III：Practice 1. Activity 1：Read Quickly Read the words and Phrases on the screen. 2. Activity 2: I can read Read the special days on the screen. Then use the sentence pattern to make new dialogues. For example: -- When is the English test? -- It’s on Nov. 2nd. 3. Pair work Show some special days(New Year’s Day, Children’s Day, April Fool’s Day,Easter,) andsome activities (eat dinner with family,sing and dance , have a show, play games, make jokes,look for Easter eggs and eat chocolate eggs). Then use the sentence patterns to make new dialogues. A:When is __? B:It’s on __. A:What do you do on that day? B:We__. IV. Summary Teacher leads the students to make summary about what we have learned today. 1. New words: first second third fourth fifth 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 2. Sentences: When is -----? It’s on -----. 3. 1. Listen to the tape and read the words and sentences on page 39 twice. 2. Copy the words three times. 3.把基数词6-12变成序数词并总结规律。 4. Do a survey: When is your family member's birthday or your friend's birthday? And then make a chart.
