一、教学分析

1、教材分析

《A visit to Linda’s neighbourhood》选自小学英语牛津教材四年级第一学期第三模块第二单元《Around my home》。整个单元一共分为三个课时。通过创设“Linda’s neighbourhood, A visit to Linda’s neighbourhood，Wonderful Nanjing Road”三个情境，学生能够运用所学的语言进行对话或语段描述。

本课是这一单元中的第二课时，第一课时，学生了解了Linda家附近建筑的一些名称，以及用between、near、next表达地点所在的位置。本课是对第一课时的延续学习，这一课时设计的主题为：A visit to Linda’s neighbourhood。通过Linda的朋友Jill参观她的居住地区，以不同的需求自然引出there be句型的一般疑问句形式，是一个循序渐进，由浅入深的过程。通过贴近生活的情景创设，让学生在熟悉的情境中学习单词和句型，激发学生交流、学习兴趣。 2. 对学生的分析

本班学生对于英语都有浓厚的学习兴趣，积累了一定数量的词汇与一些重要的、常见的语法与时态，已经初步具备了一定的英语技能，也养成了较好的英语学习习惯。个别学生学习能力强，能起到很好的带头作用。但也有部分学生需要同伴的帮助。本课所安排的文本主人公也是学生非常熟悉的人物，因此对于学生来说有着较为便利的语言环境。

二、教学目标

教学目标

1.熟练读出并使用表示地点的名词：bakery, clothes shop，post office, restaurant. 2.能用next to, in front of, behind, near表达地点所在的正确位置。

3. 学习使用Is there/ Are there…? 对居住地的场所进行问答。能够熟练使用There be….句型表达周围的地方。

4. 能够较熟练地用want to 表达自己的愿望。

教学重难点

1.能够运用 Is there/ Are there…? 对居住地的场所进行询问并准确指出地点位置。
