Buffet教学设计

教学内容：

《Unit 5 Story time》是人教版小学英语三年级下册Zoom 和Zip吃自助餐的故事，出自课本55页。

教学目标：

1、能听懂、读懂故事，并感知词汇dollars, cheap, chicken, hot dog, Coke和句子I want…. I’m full .No way的意思和用法。

2、能用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

3、能了解自助餐厅的用餐规矩，并爱惜粮食。

教学重点：

1.能听懂和读懂故事，明白故事大意；

2.能正确朗读故事。

教学难点：

新词的发音：dollar, cheap, chicken, hot dog，Doggy bag 2.

语法点：I want some+可数名词复数和不可数名词

教学过程：

Warming -up: 1. Greetings. 2. Sing a song——An apple a day. II. Pre-reading

1.Look at the pictures and predict: (1) Who is in the story? (2) What food can you see?

(3) Where are Zoom and Zip? At home or in a buffet? 2. Learn about a buffet: (1) What food can we see in a buffet? Can you read the menu of a buffet? (2) What is the price of a buffet? Cheap or expensive? III. While-reading

Read the beginning of the story:(P1) (1)

Look and answer :How much is Zoom and Zip’s buffet? (2)

Learn about: dollar, cheap 2. Read the middle of the story:(P2-P4) (1) Ss watch the story and fill in the table: staple food

(2) Learn the new words: chicken & hot dog & Coke

(3) Ss read the part in pairs. 3. Read the end of the story:( P5) (1) Ss predict the ending: Can Zoom eat all the food? Yes or No? If he can’t eat all the food, can he pack up? (2)Learn the new words with pictures or situations: full & doggy bag & No way Oh, I’m full. Doggy bag, please.(Learn the word Full and Doggy bag)

IV. Post-reading: Learn about the rules in a buffet: Why can’t Zoom have a doggy bag? (1)Don’t take too much food.
