Show some Xiaowanzi’s family member’s picture, but cover some part of their body. Let students guess it.

Teacher : Who is this? Can you guess out?

Students guess and answer it.

Teach the new words:

mother father grandfather grandmother

sister brother friend

By these methods:

1.Higher and higher voice

2.magic finger

3.Read group by group

The better group can get stars.

Step 3 Practice

Practice the new words by these methods:

ACTIVITY 1:Bomb game

ACTIVITY 2:Words rotation(单词转盘)

Who can read the word right,which group can get a star. ACTIVITY 3:Learn : she he

Show PPT

Let Ss tell she or he.

Make some sentences .

She is ...

He is ...

Ask some students answer the questions .

Step 4 Production

ACTIVITY 1: Show a video

At first ,let students see a video what is about a student introduces her family.

And then let students see again .

Students imitate the video and introduce their family to their partners.

ACTIVITY 2:Show time

Invite some students to introduce their families to other classmates .

Step 5 Wrap up

Ask students :

Do you love your father?

Do you love your mother?

Let students see a CCTV’s public service announcement .

And let students :Please care for your parents.

Step 6 homework

Copy the new words of part C(抄写单词大二小三中一) Baby group

Ss will get stickers.
