教材

Lesson three includes 3 parts: teaching aim、analysis of the Ss, the key and difficult points.

Now, I will talk about the teaching aims. 教学目标 ①

The first one is language knowledge. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to make a card for birthday party includes time, place, what to do .

②The second one is language skills. To develop Ss’ abilities of listening、speaking and communication. ③The third one is emotional aim

(1) To develop Ss’ awareness of cooperation.

(2)To help Ss mind other people. 学情分析

Ss have known words of months: such as January, February, March and places…This class will help Ss grasp how to introduce when is the birthday and where to have a birthday party and what to do. 教学重点、难点

According to

the main instructional aims of teaching English in primary school, the key-points of this lesson is：To make sure Ss can use the key patterns: My birthday is on…please come to…we can do…and…to make a card correctly. 二、教法、学法

The teacher will use “Task-based” teaching method、situational communicative method、play method、

cooperative learning method. Ss are active and curious, interested in new things. Using play method and discussion and other methods

can stimulate their interests to learn and passion to show their advices.

教学过程

The

teaching procedures includes 4 steps. Step 1 is warming-up and Lead-in, Step 2 is presentation,Step3

practice and development, Step 4 is conclusion and homework .Now I will explain my first step.- Step 1.

Warming-up and Lead-in （1）G&Bs, do you love birthday party? Ok, you love them. Now let’s sing a song to celebrate it. After singing, I begin the lesson by showing my birthday invitation card to invite Ss to come to my birthday party. Purpose: The question is related to the topic, so it can form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss. Step 2. Presentation

Then introduce my friend Yaoyao, and show her invitation card.

Let Ss listen to the tape and read it by themselves. (3)

Let Ss discuss these questions: When is Yaoyao’s birthday?

Where is Yaoyao’s birthday?What to do on birthday? And lead them to find answers from card and the pictures I give. (4)

Ask Ss’

to introduce their birthday parties, let them answer with these patterns:

My birthday is on…please come to…we can do…and…

Purpose: The purpose of this is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking.

Step 3. Practice and Development (1)Grope work After the introduction of Ss’ birthday party by themselves, Ss will have a group work by playing a turntable game. The turntable has different month, group who turns to which month will have a bag with vivid birthday dates, places, things what to do and a card unfinished. They will be given 5 minutes to complete the card together, and then the headman of the group will show the whole class their invitation card.

(2)Make a card

After practicing oral English, Ss will finish invitation card by writing to confirm the key sentences.

Purpose:

Group cooperation can develop Ss’ team spirit. Making an invitation card is to check if Ss can use key patterns and structures correctly and skillful. Step 4. Conclusion and Homework

(1) After step3, some pupils can grasp the knowledge well, but some can’t, so revision is important. The teacher will summarize the patterns once more and encourage all the group

whatever good or bad, right or wrong. It is necessary for the pupils to do exercise after class, so I design the following homework. (2)Homework: Ask your friends to come to your birthday with invitation card.

Purpose: The purpose of this part is to revise patterns which have been taught. In the class, students will use the key sentences skillfully by working in a group and writing.

四、板书设计

At the middle, there is a birthday cake and “invitation card” is on the top. “Time” (when) with the pattern “my birthday is on…on the left, “place” (where) please come to… “What to do” we can…at the bottom.

The far right place is group evaluation; Ss are divided into four groups, different groups can get a mark by teeing a piece of calendar that each has 12 months, the maximum pieces the group has is the winner.
