探究一：1.LiMing writes a report about clothes around the world? 李明写了一

篇关于全世界服装的报告。（1）Write---about –是动词短语，意为“关于---写---”。

其中about是介词，后面接名词和代词，多用于内容和观点比较普通的情况下，通常涉

及日常生产和生活等方面的事情，侧重于“泛泛而谈”。

I’ll tell them about the interesting places in Beijing. 我将告诉他们关于北京的名胜。

【例1】请写写你上午的情况并讲给我听。please and tell me your morning. （2）World意思为世界，通常与定冠词the连用，构成the world. in the world 在世界上；around the world 世界各地； all around the world 全世界。

【例2】他想周游世界各地。He wants to travel . 探究二: Their clothes are so colourful! 他们的衣服是如此艳丽。colourful adj．多彩的，色彩艳丽的。其反义词为colourless。 She doesn't like colourful dresses．她不喜欢色彩鲜艳的衣服. 本句中的so是副词，意为“如此，那么“，用于形容词或副词，so也可以做连词，意为“因此，所以”。

【拓展】colourful是由名词colour加后缀-ful派生而来的。类似的词还有：help (帮助)-----helpful (adj．有帮助的) use(用法，用途)--------useful ( adj．有用的) Care (注意)-----careful (adj．仔细的，小心的)

【例1】He looks very (colour)．

探究三：How do they look? 他们看起来怎么样?

在此处由how引导的疑问句是什么意思呢? how在此处意为“怎样，如何”，用于询问他人的观点，或建议。本句的答语常用They’re pretty或Thev look beautiful等回答。

---How does your mother look? 你妈妈看起来怎么样？

---She looks beautiful．她看起来很漂亮。

【例1】Our English teacher looks very pretty．(对画线部分提问) English teacher ? 探究四：These women look so pretty in black and white. 这些妇女穿着黑白相间的衣服看上去很美。

（1）women是woman的复数形式，woman意为“妇女，成年女子”， man

意为“，成年男子”，这两个单词做定语时如果所修饰的名词是复数名词，woman与man相应地改为复数形式。如

：a woman doctor 一名女医生，three men teachers三名男教师

（2）perrty

此处为形容词，意为“漂亮的，可爱的；优美的”通常修饰女性，小孩或较小的物体；
