Reading and writing .
一、教学目标
1.语言知识目标:
(1) 能听懂、会说单词:Guangzhou Tower, Pearl River, tall buildings , fast food. (2)能听懂、会说、会运用句子“There was... before. Now there is ...
.
There were... before.
Now there are ... .”
2. 语言能力目标:
(1)能运用所学的语言知识点介绍自己熟悉的家乡环境的前后变化。
(2)能运用知识对自己身边的环境变化进行描述。
3. 学习策略目标: 结合当地的学生熟悉的区域优势展开学习,培养学生积极自主学习的能力。
4.情感态度目标:
通过对知识的学习,让学生明白过去与现在的差别、变化,从而教育学生珍惜现在的美好生活,为今后现代化的发展多作贡献。
二、教学重点,难点。
1.通过阅读文中的片段,能从中获取信息,完成练习和表格。
2. 根据学习联系实际境况介绍家乡环境的前后变化完成小练笔。
三、教学准备
1. PPT课件,练习纸。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warm- up
1. Greeting
T: Good afternoon .boys and girls .
Ss: Good afternoon .
T: How are you today ?
Ss: I’m fine .thanks .What about you ?
T: I’m fine ,too .

2.Sing a song . T : Oh, children .From your answer I heard something about nervous.

1. 自我介绍引出自己的家乡Maoming,欣赏图片。

China’s Best Beach is a beautiful beach .It’s in my hometown Maoming . Maoming is a big city . I am from there . I am Wu Xian . Now I will show you to Maoming . 【设计意图:从五年级下册第二单元的歌曲里出现的茂名、中国第一滩,引入介绍自己家乡。】

.Introduce my hometown Maoming’s changes .
T: Is it beautiful ?
Ss:Yes, it is . T: But do you know ,what was it like before?
Ss:... T: The China’s Best beach was dirty
before . There were small houses . Now the beach is clean .There are lots of tall buildings everywhere .In a word, my hometown really changed a lot .and so did my friends’ hometown . Let’s
listen what changes about my friend’s
hometown . 【设计意图:通过老师讲述自己家乡的过去与现在的变化状况,使学生初步了解过去与现在的区别。】
Step 3 Presentation 1.PPT 出示Wang Yan的照片。

city before ? 13.Check the answers. 14.Listen to all the passage ,and fill in the blanks with the correct sentences. 15. Read all the passage together , match the pictures .check the answers together.

Retell . 利用思维导图,引导学生示范复述课文。
