一、教材分析

本节课是冀教版小学英语Book 7 Unit 3中的一节新授课，借“Winter Fun”这一主题介绍加拿大的冬天景色及在加拿大人们冬天所做的运动等。本课的教学内容与学生的日常生活联系紧密，易于吸引学生的关注兴趣，并借用自己已有的知识贮备拓展应用，在使用中体会语言的工具性。

二、学情分析

本节课的授课对象是六年级学生,他们有一定的语言表述基础。语言学习的目标要高于低年级学生,他们乐于在老师的帮助下尝试思维性的表述活动。这个年龄的学生喜爱参与体验性的活动,

根据这一特点，我在教学中采取了以任务型教学模式为主，以活动、合作为主线，让学生在老师的指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作、游戏感悟等多法并用的方式组织教学，以促进语言交际能力的提高。对于生活在北方的孩子们来说,堆雪人是一件充满乐趣的事情,因此学习本课能丰富他们的生活经验。

三、教学目标

(一)知识与技能目标

1.学生能够听懂、会说、认读并书写以下身体部位词汇:body, head, mouth, nose, eye ,ear, arm, leg 2.学生能够认读、理解并运用以下句子We make a small snowball for his he-ad, Can you put this snowball on that snowball?来表述堆雪人的过程,并尝试运用顺序副词first, next, then, finally使表述更具层次性、条理性。

(二)情感态度目标

学生能够在课堂教学所创设的情境中感受堆雪人所带来的乐趣。将自己堆雪人的过程写下来并配上自己制作的雪人图片,体验成长的快乐。

(三)学习策略目标

学生能够在教师的指导下运用阅读策略加深对文本的理解,采用适当的朗读技巧培养语感,并积极参与合作,大胆表述。

四、重点难点

本课重点是能正确运用语句We make a …for his …(身体部位)来表述堆雪人的过程。

解决措施: 利用交互式电子白板的交互功能激发学生的学习欲望,活动激趣与学生一起用英语交流、享受英语学习的乐趣。

难点：学生能够正确运用顺序副词first, next, then, finally使表述堆雪人的过程更具层次性、条理性。

解决措施: 创设情境,使语言学习联系生活实际。

五、教学过程：

Class opening and review 1. Greeting 2. Play a game to review body. 3. Talk about the seasons: （1）How many seasons in a year? （2）What’s your favourite season? My favourite season is winter. Because there is ice and snow. I like to skate on the ice and I like to ski on the snow. And I like to make snowmen, too. Winter is fun. Do you like snowmen? (Introduce skate, ski , snowball and snowman). （二）、New Concepts：

1. Li Ming and Jenny like to make a snowman in winter, too. First, listen carefully, then try to answer these questions. (1) How many snowballs do Li Ming

and Jenny make?

(2) Which snowball is for the snowman’s body?

(3)Which snowball is for the snowman’s head?

2. Read Part 1 silently, try to find the answers.

(1) Read Part 1 and underline what do they use for the snowman’s nose, eyes, mouth, ears and arms.

(2) Does the snowman have any legs or feet?

3. Teach how to make a snowman. Pay attention to these words: body, head, nose, eyes, mouth, ears, arms, stone and sticks. 4. Ask students to make a snowman in groups. Then say the steps in the front of the classroom. 5. Say how to make a snowman together. 6. Do exercises. 7. Sing a song.
