Period 1 一、 教学目标

1、能听、说、认读本单元关于工作的8个单词：a doctor, a nurse, a teacher, a taxi driver, a police officer, a firefighter, a writer, an office worker并且能拼读以及书写。

2、

能掌握询问工作的句型，并且能在实际情境中正确使用句型。

What do you do? I’m a __________.

What does he / she do? He’s / She’s a __________.

What do you want to be? I want to be a _________.

What does he /she want to be? He / She wants to be a ____________. 3.

能灵活运用本节课的知识进行拓展。

二、 教学重难点

重点：1. 学会关于职业的8个单词和2个句型，拓宽单词的记忆方法；

2. 能用英语说出自己和他人想要从事的职业；

3. 能就职业话题展开简单的英语对话。

难点：能综合运用语言知识在创设的情境中有效交流。

三、情感态度与价值目标

1. 通过师生互动激发学生学习英语的兴趣以及认真学好英语的态度；

2. 培养学生尊重各种职业，热爱学习、热爱生活的情感。

四、教学过程：

Step 1: Warming-up Let the Whole students sing the song 《What do you do?》to know about jobs; Step 2 : Lead-in In this step, I will let the students read the targets together; And then give them 3 minutes to learn the new words and sentences by themselves in their groups.

Step 3: Presentation(创设情景激发学生的学英语的兴趣,学习主要单词和句型。)

1. I will act as a magician to do a magic. This magic is to change eight students to act eight kinds of jobs and then teach the new words one by one.(Let the students pay attention to “an office worker”.) 2、I will use the PPT and the pictures to teach the new sentences. After teach every word and sentence, I will let the students use the words and sentences to change the lyrics of the song “Two Tigers”.

3、Let the students to read the new words and sentences together, also I will let the students do the action. After that let the students try to recite the words and sentences.

4. 总结语法：助动词do和does的用法；

6. 重点提出What do they do? They’re 复数名词. 和

What do they want to be? They want to be复数名词.

Step 4: Practice

In this step , the students will have three tasks. Task 1 Play the flashing game and guessing game.

Task 2 Let the students use the new words and sentences to make a simple dialogue in pairs. Task 3 Complete the test.

Step 5: Development Part1 In this part I will act as a reporter to interview the students, I will use the sentence “What do you want to be?”to ask. And then I will let two or three students to act as reporters to interview their group mates. Part 2 Finish a short passage. After that read their passages to their group mates.

Hello, I’m _________. This is my family. I’m a ________. My father is a _________. My mother__________________.I want ___________________________. Step 6: Summary

First, I will guide the Student to conclude the key words and sentences. Secondly, get the students to know, “Great hopes make Great man!” Tell them no matter what jobs they want to be in the future, they must study hard now, and try to make their dreams come true.

Step7: Homework 1. Copy the new words and sentences, 2. Surfing the Internet to know more jobs.
