总目标:本单元继续扩大学生谈论日常生活所需的词汇,
其中以朋友颜色和更多的教室实物为重点。本单元结束时,学生将完成所有英语字母的学习,以便能够进行英语拼写和认读。
具体目标:1. 学生能正确认读和书写字母:Aa—Zz,
并了解它们在单词中的读音。
2. 学生能听懂、会说和认读下列词汇:
Friend, window, red, yellow, blue, green, orange, brown, white, black.

Greeting
教师活动
Greet the class as they enter by
saying Hello boys and girls! How are you today? Expect common responses from many students.
Review the whole alphabet up to letter R. Ask for students to stand up and say the letters. Hole up the colour chart and point to red, yellow, blue, green. Ask students to shout out the colour as you point to it. Play the ABC song once. Then, sing the song as a 预设学生活动

Tell the students that today, they will learn to recognize some more of the letters in the English alphabet. They will also learn a new chant that will help them remember the English colour words.
Introduce letters Ss,Tt, Uu, Vv and match the words: school, tea, umbrella, vegetables with their beginning letters.
Hold up the alphabet chart and point out the four new letters. Say the letters aloud and ask the students to repeat after me.
Refer the students to page 26, part 1.
Go through the process of writing each of the new letters. Then, slowly write each letter on the board as the students watch. Ask for four volunteers to come forward. Write the four letters on the board and have each student slowly copy them on the board. Ask the rest of the class to use their fingers to draw the letters in the air as the volunteers write them correctly on the board.
Let’s play!
This game will help the students practice all of the letters they have learned so far—Aa through Vv. As this is the first time the students will encounter this game, it is important that you take plenty of time to demonstrate how it is played. You should demonstrate how to do it using a volunteer and yourself as models. You and your partner take a place in front of the blackboard. Draw a square and then divide it into nine squares. One person calls out a letter, the other
person writes that letter in one of the nine available spaces.
What colour is it??
introduce these new colour words: orange, brown, white, black
take out the colour chart. Demonstrate the four new colour on the chart and say the words as you point to them. Show a colour and ask what colour is this? Repeat a few times covering all four colours.
Practice:
Ask the students to find partners and take turns pointing to orange, brown, white or black things, such as clothing, classroom objects or posters, or pictures in their books. They should practice:
Student1: what colour is this?
Student2: _________(name of colour). Or it’s ________/ it is ________.
Let’s chant.
Refer the students to page 27, part 4.
Play the audiotape. Demonstrate that how to point to the colour as you chant with the audio.
Ask the students to point to each of the colour as you say them aloud.
Praise the students for their hard effort today. You can review the colours for a few minutes by asking for students to point to _____ (a colour). The students should be able to find clothing or various objectives in the class (even things on posters or the colour chart) and point to them.
