一、教学内容：Unit3 Language in use

二、教学目标：

1.能听懂谈论音乐的简单对话，能判断描述的事实。

2.能用感叹句表达自己的感受。

三、教学方法:

以说为主要教学方式，以讨论为主要方法，通过同桌讨论和小组以及全班讨论，让每个学生充分练习口语和说的能力，并将听说读写有机地贯穿一体。

四、教学过程：

Step 1 Warming-up 1.

Ask students to enjoy a video and remember as many instrument as they can. Step 2 Lead-in 2.

Ask the students: “Is it a piece of

pop music or traditional music?”and “Do you like pop music or traditional music?”

Brainstorm other types of music and ask them to listen to some pieces of music, and guess the types of music and think out some adjectives to describe the music. Step 3 Listening People the speaker

Make them know more about country music and answer the following questions.

Where does country music come from? What's the music about? Who was the most famous singer in the 1970s? Why does the writer like country music? 3.

Analysis of the passage and let them know how to introduce a type of music.
