教学目标

知识与技能目标：

1、学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下读懂短文并完成读后活动；能够按照正确的语音、语调、意群朗读短文；能够完成个性化的书写活动；

2、能够在语境中理解单词 kitten、diary、still、noise、fur、open、walk的意思。

3、能够在教师的帮助下总结基数词及序数词的用法，并完成相应练习。

情感态度目标：

让学生体验学习，参与，合作，竞争的乐趣；培养学生热爱小动物的情趣。

学习策略目标：

培养意群阅读的习惯，能在情境中进行语言交际，注重合作，能在积极思考、解决问题的过程中学习语言，提高学习热情与自信。

教学重、难点

教学重点：能听懂、读懂、内化Read and write内容，并掌握基本的阅读策略；完成课后练习。

教学难点：能提高阅读技巧，掌握基本阅读策略，并进行大胆思考和尝试英文书写。

课前准备：

教师准备与本课时相关音、视频、单词卡片及课件。

教学过程

Step 1 Warm-up 1.

Free talk. 2.

Play a game. a. 快速认读词卡。教师出示本单元词卡，学生进行快速拼读和复习。

b. 快速闪现活动。PPT快速闪现节日和生日图片. Ask and answer:

When is …’s birthday?

It’s on… .

（设计意图：谈话导入，复习已学知识，拉近师生距离；快速抢答活跃课堂气氛的同时，也复现了旧知识，复习本单元重点词汇和句型，激活了学生原有的知识链接,并且适时渗透still，为新知做好铺垫。）

Step 2 Presentation 1.

PPT设置情景：Sarah and Sarah’s pet.

（1）T: Sarah has a lovely pet. It can walk and it can run. It can eat mice.

What is it? ( It’s a cat.) (在这个过程中，学习单词walk、run，运用肢体语言，边做动作边说单词，并且进行造句。) （2）“kitten” (PPT呈现图片) T: The cat has two new little babies, what do you call a baby cat in English? …

We call it a kitten. 呈现kittens 图片, Read the sentence“ The cat has two new kittens.”

（3）“diary”PPT呈现P43 read and write.

T: This is Sarah’s diary. How do you know it’s a diary?

Ss: …

（设计意图：在真实情景中呈现主题，操练新词，吸引学生兴趣，为顺利阅读扫清语言障碍。）

2. Read and write. （1）Part 1. PPT出示第一篇日记及图片。同时出示以下问题：

a. When are the kittens’ birthday?

b. What colour are they? c. Can they see? 引导学生观察图片，阅读文本并提取信息回答问题。然后教师播放录音，学生模仿跟读。

（2）Part 2. PPT出示第二篇日记及图片。

T: Today is April 21st. How old are the kittens? Are they pink? Can they see?播放日记录音，学生听后回答问题。教师再次播放第二段录音，学生跟读模仿。接着请学生根据图片和教师手势尝试复述。

（3）Part 3 &Part 4. PPT 出示图片和日期。

T: Can you say something about the kittens?鼓励学生用自己的语言描述小猫，然后播放录音，学生模仿跟读。

（4）Open the books. Read the diary with the tape. （设计意图：首先带问题阅读文本，然后带问题听说，过渡到用自己的语言描述，最后小组内进行有感情的朗读，分层处理阅读文本，帮助学生由易到难、逐层深入理解课文。）

Step3.Practice 1.Read in groups. 2.PPT播放Read and write 视频，学生进行配音，小组展示。

3.Read and match. 4.Write two sentences about the kittens. （设计意图：由分层处理到整体感知，由跟读到自由朗读再到配音活动，使学生有效地融入到文章情境中，内化新知，能够独立完成课后练习。）

Step4. Consolidation 1.Let’s wrap it up. 在教师的帮助下总结基数词及序数词的用法，并完成P44练习。

2.Exercises. （设计意图：训练学生知识总结能力，设计检测性和可操作性课堂练习，可以让学生复习和巩固所学语言知识，有利于学生更好的掌握知识。）
