单元整体分析

1.单元内容总体描述：本单元的功能是能用what is it ？来向别人询问动物的名称，用it is a …来介绍小动物的名称，用Its…is/are…描述小动物的外形特征。再次巩固句型：What is it ?It’s a dog. 本单元在回答问题时难度稍有增加，需要区别it’s与its的用法，正确区别和使用it’s , its。以学生们刚刚学习过的知识How many animals do you know?进入话题，复习的同时学习新知识，同时也出现了mouse, cat, dog, rabbit 新词；然后以学生们喜欢的方式，猜谜游戏来强化

it’s , its的用法。完成本单元重点内容的学习后，通过表演的方法复现和巩固并让学生们加以应用。通过小猫和猫妈妈的角色扮演，让学生们应用核心句型。

2.全套教材中与本单元相关的教学内容分析：

功能：能用What is it 来向别人询问动物的名称，用it is a …来介绍小动物的名称，用Its…is/are…描述小动物的外形特征话题。

语言知识：本册教材是第一册教材，学习的基础知识，在4-6年级中很少再出现重点重复本单元话题，但是在整个英语交际和实际使用中，本单元的句型还是很常用。

学生在初次学习特殊疑问词what，对于学生来时说应该有点难度，当然也可能会有一些学生对语言感知比较慢，对已学过的知识有遗忘，加上特殊词的出现比较有点难度。

难点预测：

1.学生可能会困惑为什么这个What is it？句子中are没有出现？

2.在语言学习中，不同国家的语言习惯不同，这对初学者可能是比较困难的。比如语序，What is it？和中文的你怎么样？的语序就不一样。这个需要强调。

3.采用小组合作表演的方式，加强同学们之间的互动，培养学习过程中的合作意识。
