一、

The analysis of this lesson: This lesson is talking about a story that Zoom prepares for the singing test on May 4th and refuses the activities other offers. Students learn to read a short story based what they learned in this week including dates. This story can be used to check if students are clear with sentences learned. Or it can be used as a reading material to improve the reading skills.

二、Teaching aims:

1. Check if students can use dates to understand the story: April 30th, May 1st, May 2nd , May 3rd.

2. Check and review phrases: singing test, play football, after school, watch TV, go swimming, of course, Practice makes perfect.

3. Improve the reading skill, and know that we should refuse some fun for more important things. 三、Important &difficult points(重难点): 1.能够理解本单元学习的日期和活动的表达等知识大致理解故事内容。

2.理解故事含义，明白为了重要的事情放弃一些玩耍。

四、Teaching aids：flash、PPT. 五、Teaching steps(学习步骤): Step 1.Warming-up(5mins）

Watch the flash and guess.(3mins)

Choose some students to guess what is happening in the flash. Step 2. Self-Reading（18mins）

1）Let students read the story and underline the content they don’t understand.(8mins) 2) 板书：
