The grammar section is in many ways closely interwined with More reading. Read the following passage and try to choose the right answer. Spiders may look like insects, but are very different from them. One difference between a spider and an insect is that a spider’s body is divided into two parts, the head and the abdomen. Insects have a third part, called the thorax (胸部). There are nearly 40,000 types of spiders living in all parts of the world. One of the largest spiders is the goliath spider, which lives in South America. One goliath spider measured more than 27 centimeters across. These spiders primarily live on birds. Like most spiders, they are not generally considered dangerous to humans.
