教学目标:
知识目标: 1、掌握可数名词复数的4种情况。
2、掌握句子单复数的用法。
能力目标:
1、可以根据教师的提问做出相应的回答。
3、能根据图片信息说出简单的句子。
情感目标:激发和培养学生学习英语的欲望,提高学生的语言表达能力 教学重难点:
重点:掌握名词变复数的规则、不规则变化。
难点:名词变复数的不规则变化以及单复数之间的转化。
教学准备:多媒体课件、录音机、磁带、图片、实物等。
教学设计
(一)歌曲导入
激发兴趣
Say a chant.(多媒体播放歌曲)
Banana,Bananas,one and two. Banana,bananas, I see you. Orange,Oranges,one and two. Orange, oranges, I see you. Apple,Apples,one and two. Apple,apples,I see you. So many apples. (设计意图:通过歌曲辅助创设情景,让学生很容易地联想到本课的主题“名词变复数”。激发学生学习的欲望,使学生很自然的进入了英语课堂。)

(二)新授
T: Well, Today we will learn Lesson 10。 How Many Are There?(板书标题) I have many things or pictures 。Do you want to see ?
S: Yes. 1、学习Part1andPart 2
T : (出示实物或图片) What is this ?
S1: This is a pencil .(板书pencil)
T: How many are there? How many ?
S2: One pencil.
T: Yes, this is one pencil.
T : (出示实物或图片) What are these ?
S3: These are pencils .(板书pencils)
T: Good. We can use‘many’ in this sentence .Who can ?
S4: These are many pencils. T:Yes. 用同种方式教授: This is a chair. These are many chairs .(chair,chairs)
This is a box. These are many boxes.(box,boxes)
This is a bus. These are many buses.(bus, buses)
This is a brush. These are brushes.( brush brushes) This is a couch. These are couches.( couch couches) What do you find? (设计意图:教师通过出示一些句子,让学生在反复思考中发现规律。避免灌输式的讲授方式,化知识于无形之中,让学生在思考过程中体验学习知识的乐趣,收获成功的喜悦。) T:现在老师开始变魔术!(吸引孩子们的眼球)
2.学习Part 3。
教师将道具里面装满所需要的实物,先变出一个,再变出多个。
This is a tomato. These are tomatoes.(板书tomatoes) This is a potato. These are potatoes.(板书potatoes)

(设计意图:激发学生的好奇心,使学生亲身感受以“o”结尾名词的单复数情况,同时又能增强教师在学生心中的地位,寓教于乐,事半功倍。) 3.探究学习
(1)看单词,找规律。
a pencil, two pencils ,many pencils; a chair, two chairs , many chairs; a box, two boxes, many boxes; a bus, two buses, many buses; a brush, two brushes,many brushes; a couch, two couches, many couches; a tomato ,two tomatoes ,many tomatoes ; a potato ,two potatoes, many potatoes; a photo, two photos, many photoes. 我们发现了———— (2)小组讨论。总结规律。并且把找到的规律说给其他小组听。
(3)、教师点评并补充。
4、学习Part 4。
学生阅读Part 4;教师领读Part 4,讲解不规则变化。
(设计意图:让学生通过观察、听说、阅读、讨论、展示活动进一步巩固对课文的学习,同时感知并理解新授课中涉及到的词汇和句型,抓住本课的主题,同时培养学生的小组合作意识。)
(三)课堂检测
1.Write down the plural forms of these words.(写出下列单词的复数形式。) Tomato woman man child bus box potato photo 2.Sentence pattern transformation.句型转换。
①This is a desk.(改为复数句)
②This child is playing.( 改为复数句) (设计意图:小组合作完成习题,及时反馈学习情况,及时巩固新知。同时

(四)巩固提高
1.接龙游戏。(每个学生一句话) T:Boys and girls,let’s play a game. I have one bag. I have two desks. I have three pens. I have four rulers.…
(设计意图:通过接龙游戏的方式,锻炼了学生的反应能力,进一步训练了单复数的学习。) (五)作业
1、“喜羊羊逛市场”。
T:The happy Sheep goes to the supermarket. Can you write a composition to introduce what he sees? Example:It is Sunday today. I go to the supermarket. Look, these are tomatoes…
2、查找更多名词复数的不规则变化。

本节课是小学英语冀教版六年级上册Lesson 10 How Many AreTere? 这是一节学习名词单复数变化的一节课,主要学习名词变复数的规则和不规则变化,以及学习单数表达法This is ……/These are……。学习重点单词时,我采用了直观教学法直接显示:
dress—dresses dish—dishes

bus—buses man—men woman—women child—children 讲述名词变复数一般情况下在词尾加s或es也有特殊的,必须大家逐个记住。通过这一节课的教学,学生对名词变复数有了更进一步的了解,教学效果良好。
