绘本教学活动教案 2018 年3 月13号 Module 7 Unit 1 There is a cat in the tree. By Xu Xinghui Teaching aims：

1、Students understand the words：there is, animal ,can , see, help, over there.... 2、Students initially perceive the "there be" structure. 3、Students perceive the differences between English and Chinese in expressing the existence of characters. The key and difficult points :

1. Master the vocabulary and sentence patterns of this unit: animal, can, see, and there be.

2、Use "there be" sentence pattern to describe the picture and illustrate the similarities and differences between the two pictures. Teaching aids: Words card、 picture、 PPT 、 e-pen Teaching steps：

Step 1、warming up

1、Greetings.

2、Have a free talk.(Show the part 1)

T: How many elephants?

Ss: One..

T: Oh ,there is one. Step 2、 Preparation 1、Listen to the chant,and I will write “There be” on the blackboard. 2、Listen and chant it together. Then read in groups. 3、The teacher used PPT to show a tree and a cat in it. Let students describe it using “there be”

Step 3、New lessen. 1、Let the children listen to the text and answer the question: who saved the cat?( policeman) 2、Let the children listen to the text again and answer the question: why didn't Sam save the cat? （T: The tree is tall. ）

3、Let the children listen to the text again and find out what ways Sam and Daming want to do. Why is it still unsuccessful? （ chair, table, we are short. ）

4、Read the text in one sentence by sentences. Step 4、Practice A picture is shown on PPT, and the children describe the animals in the picture with the there be sentence pattern learnt today.

( Eg: There is ...) Step 5、Homework 1、Listen to the text and pay attention to the imitation 2、The children designed a zoo by themselves, and introduced their zoo to you, using the sentence pattern "there be" today.
