一、教学目标

1、能通过对本课单词的学习,了解各个房间的特点和用途。

2、能掌握各个房间的表达方法(living room,dining

room,study,kitchen,bathroom)及介词opposite。

3、能用“Where is the ......?”,“It's+介词......”句型进行问答。

二、学情分析

我们的学生虽然已有三年的学习经验,但仍有部分学生学习兴趣不高。同时,许多学生还是为学习而学习,谈不上兴趣问题。因此,在教学过程中要鼓励这类学生多发言,多互动,力求使每一个学生都有一个积极的态度面对英语学习。

三、重点难点

1、本课单词的正确发音和拼读。

2、能使用本课句型进行问答。

3、能掌握各个房间的表达方法(living room,dining room,study,kitchen,bathroom)及介词opposite。

4、能通过对本课单词的学习,了解各个房间的特点和用途。

四、教学过程:

1、【导入】导入

( show my photo)

T: Who is she? Do you know?

Ps: It’s Miss Cai.

T: Yes, it’s me. You are clever.

( show a picture of my room)

T: Look, this is my room. Is it nice?

Ps: Yes.

T: Right. It’s nice. What a nice room! So today we’ll learn Lesson1 What a Nice Room!

2、【讲授】学习新词评论

1. Show pictures and learn the new words.

T: Look! This is a picture of a room. What can you see in the room?

Ps: I/We can see a TV/ sofas…

T: Good. There is a TV and sofas. So We can watch TV here. This is a living room. Read after me, living room, living room.

T: P1. Is your living room big or small?

Ps: It’s big/ small.

Use the same method introduce the other words

2. Create situation to teach the word: beside.

T: What class are you in?

Ps: We are in Class 2, Grade 6.

T: OK. Where is Class1, Grade 6?

Ps: 在我们班/六年级二班的旁边。

T: Yes. It’s beside our class. So what is the meaning of beside? Can you guess?

Ps:在…旁边。
