Unit 3 Our animal friends (Story time)教学设计一、教材分析:

本课时围绕的主要话题是介绍动物特征,通过学习小动物的外貌特征和行为能力,学习运用身体部位名词、形容词、动词和They have…They can…等句型,并将自己喜爱的动物特征用一个完整的语段描述出来。文本中的长句It has…and…They have no…or …but they have…是学生表达的难点。另外教师可以结合学生四年级上册Unit8的五官和体貌特征的词汇,设计教学活动,鼓励学生综合运用这些词汇描述动物。也可以让学生搜集与动物相关的信息、玩具等,做教学的拓展和巩固活动等。

二、教学目标:

1、能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写单词no,leg,arm

3、能听懂、会说、会运用句型One…,the other…

Step1.Warming up and revision

1.Sing ‘Body song’ together

2.T: Do you like this song? OK, I think you are ready for my class, right?

3.First, let’s play a game: Yeah, yeah, yeah or No, no, no

I can fly.

I can swim.

I have red eyes and a short tail.

Step2.Presentation and practice

1.T:Guess, who is my new friend? Listen! She is a girl. She is Yangling’s classmate. She has a small nose and a small mouth. She has short hair.

Ss: She’s Nancy.

2. T:Today, Nancy and her friends Mike, Liu Tao and Su Hai are talking about their special friends. Let’s listen and guess what they are talking about.

3.T:Boys and girls, let’s try to guess, what’s Nancy’s animal friend?

Ss: Is it a/an…?揭示答案:Fish

T: Here are 3 questions about the fish. Read them first, then open your books, turn to Page26, read Paragraph 1 and try to find the answers, you can underline the key sentences.

(1)What color are the fish?

(3)What can the fish do?

在解决第一个问题的同时,随文学习One…, the other….并辅之图片练习此句型。在解决第二个问题的同时,随文学习单词body以及它的复数bodies

T: Do they have any legs or arms?

通过这个问题学习句型:They have no legs or arms.以及单词leg,arm

看图练习They have no…or….

T: Let’s listen and repeat now.

T:Can you introduce Mike, Liu Tao and Su Hai’s animal friends like this?

学生4人一小组复述其中一段课文,也可以4人小组一人复述其中一段课文,先在组内练习,再选择4组到台上反馈,一边复述一边把动物朋友的相应部位贴到黑板上。

2 .在你上课所得的动物贴纸中选择一个最喜欢的,通过词典和网络等途径,了解它的名称、颜色、特征和能力。
