Unit 1 My school
第二课时A. Let’s learn Let’s do
教学目标:
1、能够听、说、认读本课时单词和词组:library, teachers’office,first floor, second floor.
2、能够在语境中正确运用这4个词语来描述学校教室及场馆位置,如:Where’s the library? It’s on the first floor. 3、能听懂Let’s do中指示语,并按照指令做出相应的动作。教学重点:掌握本课时四个单词和词组,并了解它们的功能。教学难点:单词library中辅音连缀的发音。
教具准备:录音、图片及单词卡。
教学过程:
Step 1. Warm up
1、教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,如:
T: Hello, boys and girls.
S: Hello, teacher.
T: Welcome back to our new school. Nice to see you again. S: Nice to see you, too.…`
2、师生对话:
T: (指着教室)What’s in the classroom?
S: One blackboard,two doors,five windows,eight lights,many desks and chairs......
教师进行适当指导,并及时做出评价及表扬。
Step 2. Presentation
1、接着上一话题,教师接着问:What’s in our school? (有的可能答classroom,但不会说更多的英文词汇。)同学们,如果有人来我校参观,你能当一名合格的导游吗?接下来我们将学习更多有关学校设施的英语知识。
2、学习单词library
T:(教师出示图书馆图片,指着里面的书问)What are they? Ss:They’re books.
T:Where are they? 引导回答:They’re in the library.边读边板书:library.然后分音节领读单词:lib-ra-ry.
最后通过说chant,巩固library的发音:
Library,library.Go to the library.
Library,library.Read a book.
Library,library.Be quiet,be quiet!
3、学习词组teacher s’ office.
T:(教师出示办公室的图片)Some people work in this room.This is an office.边读边板书:office,领读office.
T:I’m a teacher. I work in the office, too. We call it teachers’office. 提醒学生’s的用法,而这个词组是s’,并用彩笔标注,再操练teacher s’ office。
4、回顾新学的两个词汇:领读,个人读,开火车读,最后
齐读,确保每个学生认读好所学内容。
5、学习词组first floor 和second floor.
T:(指着地板)This is the floor.(板书floor)Our classroom is on the third floor. (教师边说边解释:三楼) Then who can tell me where is the library in our school? 引导回答It’s on the first floor.板书:first floor.领读first floor,解释first于one的区别,序数词前必须加the.然后采用各种形式读记此次词。
T:Where is the computer room in our school?
引导答It’s on the second floor.板书:second floor.
6、领读,个人读,小组读所学词汇,音义结合记忆。
Step 3. Consolidate
1、Look at the book,turn to P4.
Look,ask and answer:让学生照例做,看谁提得多,答得好。2、let’s do
a.Listen and understand through the pictures.
b.Read after teacher and do the actions.
c.Lisen again,read and do.
d.师生合作或小组合作形式练习Let’s do,教师可提高难度,让学生根据活动说出场馆名称。如:
T: Read a book.
Ss:Go to the library.
T: Play football.
Ss:Go to the playground.
T: Say hello.
Ss:Go to the teacher s’office.
T: Water the flowers.
Ss:Go to the garden.
Step 4. Practice
1、完成课件上的练习题目,同时进行核对,及时做出评价,给予鼓励与表扬。
2、课堂总结。(给学生表达的机会,不全面的还是学生补充,最后简要总结本课时内容。)
Step 5. Homework
1、抄写并拼读所学新单词。
2、读熟Let’s do,表演给家长看,请家长做出评价。
板书设计:
