Teaching procedures. Step 1: Lead-in and showing the learning aims.

I ask Ss to listen to a piece of music named Danny at home to lead Ss to the topic and show the learning aims. Learning aims: 1.Master new words and phrases. 2.Master prepositions of location. 3.Can ask age and give an answer. Step 2: New words and phrases.

I show Ss two pictures to teach new words and phrases. New words: bedroom, dictionary,front,above,thirty. Phrases: in front of, How old is he/she?

I ask Ss to listen to the text and finish questions .

Step4: Scanning.

I ask Ss to scan the text and answer questions .

I conclude this lesson: This lesson is about Danny's bedroom and how to ask age. By learning it ,we can introduce family and members. Then we should realize the importance of family and members.
