【文本解读】

本节课是译林新版英语(小学)五年级上册U7 At weekends第一课时Storytime,这个单元的核心内容是“周末活动”。本单元的话题是询问和了解对方和别人(尤其是第三人称单数)周末所做的事情,在关心和了解他人的语言交际中学会运用语言。Story time.板块的内容是一种围绕意群展开的主题性交际对话,主要以Mike为中心和同学交流彼此以及家庭成员的周末生活,体现了同学之间生活中的语言交际。对话中所涉及的人物不多,谈论到的周末生活丰富多彩,贴近学生实际,有鲜活的时代特点。本板块涉及到的句子结构有:What do you do at weekends? I usually…//What does Helen do at weekends? She always…,词汇有visit my grandparents, play with their cat, have dinner, live in the UK, chat with them on the Internet, have dancing lessons, go to the cinema, have a picnic.值得注意的是本课的语言交际涉及到了四个频度副词always, usually, often , sometimes,教师在教学这一板块时要把握好尺度,既不可以一带而过,也不可以详细讲解。对话中的词汇相对较多,教师可以在先前的教学铺垫上做一定的准备,虽然对话不长但是交际中的内容较多,教师可以通过分段处理,板书体现人物做事的脉络帮助学生去理解。

本单元有些知识点在以往的学习中都已经有初步的认识,这就为本单元的教学打下了一定的基础。本课时以活动为课堂教学的主要形式,设计丰富多彩的教学活动,让学生在乐中学,学中用,做到学生英语学习的可持续性发展。【目标叙写】

1.通过本课学习,学生能够在语境中正确地理解、掌握对话内容,并能准备朗读。

2.通过本课学习,学生能够在语境中正确地听、说、读、写单词“visit, grandparents, often, chat, internet, always, sometimes”,短语“at weekends, chat on the Internet, fly a kite, go to the cinema, have a picnic, very much”.及句型What do you do at weekends? What does he/she do at weekends?及其回答。

3.通过本课学习,学生能在第一人称和第三人称的句子中正确使用动词。

4.通过本课学习,学生能将英语和日常生活紧密地联系起来,让学生热爱说英语,热爱交流。

教学重难点:

1.通过本课学习,学生能够学习本节课的新单词及日常用语,能够将词汇灵活地运用到实际的语言表达中。

2.学生能在句子中正确使用动词。
