How to write a letter of advice 一、基本框架

1．开头(beginning)——开门见山，陈述写信的目的。(state your purpose)。

2．主体(body)——对所提出的问题进行分析并说明理由，接着提出自己的建议advice and reasons)。

3．结尾(ending)——呼应开头，表达希望(express your hope)。

建议信开头常用句式：

I know you are now having difficulty in communicating with others, and you may often feel lonely. 我知道你现在与人交流方面有些麻烦，你也可能经常感到孤独。

2. I’m sorry you are having trouble in …However, the situation is not difficult to change if you take my advice. 很遗憾知道你在。。。有些麻烦。然而，如果你能接受我的建议，这种情况不难改变

3. Knowing that you have trouble…, I am writing to express my view concerning…

知道你在。。。有些麻烦，我写信来表达我对。。。。的看法。

4 I’m glad/pleased to receive your letter asking for my advice on ... 很高兴收到你就……征求建议的来信。

5 Here are some tips/a few suggestions to help you. 这里有帮助你的一些建议。

表达建议常用句式：

If you do this…

My first suggestion is that you (should) do …. If you do this,.. 2. And then, you can/should… By doing this, …

3. Besides/In addition, it would be a good idea if…
