Teaching procedures:

Step 1. Revision Talk about shopping, ask and answer questions about it. Check the homework.

Step 2. Warm up Read through the sentences in the box.

Step 3. Practice Look at the pictures in Activity 1 and practice the Wh-questions and How questions about shopping. Work in pairs, ask and answer questions about shopping. Choose one or two students to practice in class. Check it.

Step 4. Practice Get the students to look at the questions in Column A. Work in pairs, ask and answer questions about shopping. Then match them with the sentences in column B. What drinks do you need?

How much/many do you need?

Step 6. Group work Compare your list with your classmates’. Find out about your classmates’

lists. Add more things to your list. Present your shopping list to the class. Choose the best list

Step 7. Homework 1. Revise all the words and expressions in this unit. 2. Finish off the Workbook exercises.
