Unit1 Seasons and Weather

单元教学目标:

一、单元知识简介

本单元是一个新授单元,主要学习spring, summer, fall, winter, rainy, windy, sunny, cloudy等新单词,和What’s the weather like…? It’s.....这个句型。

二、教学目标

1.语言知识目标

a. 学习单词spring, summer, fall, winter, rainy, windy, sunny, cloudy

Bonus: wet warm cool dry b. 对天气进行简单的询问和描述

What’s the weather like…? It’s.....

c. 能唱歌曲,并能理解歌曲意思。

d.理解story的意义并能表演出来。

2.语言技能目标

通过说唱歌谣,做游戏,做调查报告,表演,比赛等多个环节,使学生在观察、判断、合作、自学、表演、竞争、创造、评价等多方面的能力得到发展和提高。

3.情感态度目标

a. 采用游戏教学和活动教学手段,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生的情感目标。

b. 教育学生要热爱祖国,了解到一年四季的变化,感受到祖国的美丽。

4.文化意识目标

a.了解中西方不同地方的季节天气特点。

b. 天气谈论的意义。

教学目标

(1)学生对本节课所学单词能够做到“四会”;

(2)学生能够口头表达和笔头描述四季的天气情况。

(3)学生能够灵活运用句型What’s the weather like in …..?

It’s…来询问四季的天气情况,并作出正确的回答。

教学重点

1)能够掌握所学关于季节和天气的8个单词;

(2)能够灵活运用句型来What’s the weather like in …..?

It’s…询问季节特征并作出正确的回答。

教学难点

(1)掌握所学关于季节和天气的8个单词

(2)能够正确、灵活地运用句型来What’s the weather like in …..?

It’s…询问不同季节特征并作出正确的回答。

(3)了解“名词+y变成形容词结构—rainy--rainy” 的构词方法,并能正确运用这两种结构来回答不同的问句,避免混淆。

(4)通过教学让学生掌握一定的阅读方法和技巧,并养成良好的阅读习惯和阅读方法。

教具准备

教学过程

实物、图片、课堂练习等。

Step 1 Lead-in 1. Warm up

1). Greetings

2).Have Ss watch a video about four seasons ' story.

2. Guessing: Who are they? Have the Ss watch some flashes about different seasons ' story and then have Ss play a guessing game. Step 2 Pre-reading 1.Review

1. The teacher sticks four big magic clouds cards on the BB. 2. Review the season words which they heard just now.

3. Then make Ss draw some weather pictures with the magic cloud on the BB. 2.New words teaching

1. Teacher point to the magic clouds cards have the students look and repeat. E.g: What season is it? It’s spring. It’s rainy in spring.

What season is it? It’s summer. It’s hot in summer..

个人修改

spring---rainy(show the picture) 2. Then let the Ss match the season and weather together. 3.After that do a practice, then have the Ss repeat again and again。

Step 3 While-reading 1. Encourage the students to tell as many as the seasons and the weather in group. 2. Then have Ss fill in the weather according to the seasons, and practice in groups as quickly as they can . 2.

Chant activity. Have the Ss Chant activity.

Listen and read aloud

1. Have Ss listen to the story about “My good friends”twice .

2. Have the Ss read aloud the passage together. My good friends
