Students sing the English songs to review the words of numbers from one to ten. To review some objects in the classroom. 2.
Show the pictures on P51. Have a free talk like this: What’s this?

Watch cartoon of this dialogue to grasp the main idea of this dialogue. Elicit the topic: Numbers Step II Presentation Task 1 1.
Listen again and ask students to try to answer the questions by themselves. (1)

Then students answer and we check together. 2.
Open the books. Students try to read the dialogue in pairs. Find the words they can’t read. Then ask them to correct the pronunciation of the words in groups. Teacher’s guiding: 1.
Remind students to pay attention to the key words when they answer the questions. 2.
Help individual students when they try to read by themselves. Task 2: 1.
Read the words cards from one to ten. Pay attention to the words: four &five. Don’t forget the pronunciation of the words: three, seven and eight. 2.

Group work: students make up the new dialogue by using the objects in the classroom according to the dialogue of P50. 2.
Students act out the dialogue in the front and do the actions. Teacher’s guiding: Remind students to pay attention to the intonation and activities when they act in the front. Step IV Summary Please grasp the words of numbers from one to ten. Please use the words to describe the objects and use key sentence pattern to count numbers in the daily life correctly and fluently.
