Step 2 Listen to the recorder. T: That’s a funny face. My friend has a funny face too! Listen! Who is he? Read the word “wolf”
While-task Activities Step 1 To learn the word: cake To learn the sentence: May I have…, please? Show the pictures and play the recorder. T: Look! Who is he? Is he Mr. Wolf? S: No. T: Listen! He’s a farmer. Wow, he has a restaurant. Yummy, Yummy Restaurant! A big restaurant! T: There are many things in the restaurant. Look! What’s that? Show the picture of cake and play the recorder. Have the students read the word ”cake”. T: Look at the cake. Is it big? Ss: Yes. T: It’s a big cake! Is this a big cake? Ss: No. It’s a small cake.
Have the students listen to the rhyme and read the rhyme.
A big cake, a small cake, One and two. A big cake, a small cake, I see you!
Show the picture and play the recorder. Have the students to read the sentences after the recorder. Step 2 To learn the word: pizza T: Listen! What’s that? Show the picture and play the recorder. Have the students to read after the recorder. Have the students to read the word one by one. Have the students listen to the rhyme and read the rhyme. One pizza, two pizzas, Nice and big. One pizza, two pizzas, I like to eat.
T: You like the pizza. Wolf likes the pizza, too. Show the picture and play the recorder. Have the students to read the sentences after the recorder.
Step 3 To learn the word: hamburger T: Look! Wolf is fatter! But a big pizza is not enough. Show the picture and play the recorder. T: Is this a pizza? Ss: No. T: It’s a hamburger. Have the students to read the word. T: One hamburger. Two hamburgers. Ss: Three hamburgers. Four hamburgers. Five hamburgers. T: How many hamburgers? Ss: Five hamburgers!
Show the picture and play the recorder. Have the students to read the sentences after the recorder.
Step 4 To learn the word: pie T: Wolf wants more! Show the picture and play the recorder. Have the students to read the word. Have the students to look at the pictures and say the phrases. T: Listen! What’s that? Listen and sing the song “Food Train”
T: Oh! We see so much food. It you are Wolf, what do you want? S1: May I have a …, please? May I have a…, please? Show the picture and play the recorder. Have the students to read the sentences after the recorder. Have the students to enjoy the rest part of the story.
Post-task Activities Step 1 Listen to the whole story two times. T: Do you like the story? Do you want to listen to it again? Ss: Yes!

T: We all love the story. Can you try to say and act? Have the students read the story together. Have the students act out the story in pairs.
