A visit to Insect Museum Kitty and Ben like insects very much. They want to know more insects. So, they go to the Insect Museum.

K: What is it? B: It’s a bee.

K: It’s yellow and black. How nice! B: Yes. It’s an insect.

K: An insect?

B: Yes. It has one head, one body, two feelers, four wings and six legs. So it’s an insect.

Kitty and Ben go on visiting. Now they are going to the ladybird hall. B: What is it? N: It’s a ladybird. B: It’s red and black. Is it an insect?

N: Yes, it has one head, one body, two feelers, four wings and six legs.

So it’s an insect.

Ben and Kitty come to the ant hall. They are talking with narrator. B: What is it? N: It’s an ant.

B: It’s black. How cute! N: Yes. It’s an insect.

B: An insect? N: Yes. It has one head, one body, two feelers and six legs.

So it’s an insect.

Kitty and Ben come to the butterfly hall. They are talking with narrator. K: What is it? N: It’s a butterfly.

K: It’s yellow and purple. How nice! N: Yes. It’s an insect.

K: An insect? N: Yes. It has one head, one body, two feelers, four wings and six legs.

So it’s an insect.

They see many insects in it. They know more about insects. They are happy!

Tell the students: It’s an insect. 通过听录音，让学生初步感知创设的情境，并及时了解教师所呈现的二个教学任务。

通过听录音，让学生初步感知文本内容，对所学语言知识有大致的了解。

利用昆虫博物馆中蜜蜂展厅这样一个情景，闻目睹来感受什么是昆虫以及昆虫的特征。

通过听对话文本，让学生继续了解甲壳虫也是昆虫。并进一步学习用新授语段形式来介绍昆虫。
