一、教材分析
本节课是第三单元颜色的单词学习课。本节课学习八个本单元出现的颜色:red, blue, yellow, green, pink, purple, brown和orange。重点:能准确读出单词,并能用相应的单词来表示颜色。难点:brown与purple的发音。
二、学情分析
学生在本单元前两课已经学过red和blue两个单词,因此本节课要学习的便是其他六个单词。学生对于颜色的分辨及中文名称早已得心应手,此时对照着具体颜色来学习其英文表达,学生会很理解和接受的。学生已学过“paper”,此时学习“purple”,在读音上容易混。
三、目标分析
1.
理解学习的8个颜色词的含义,能准确读出单词,并能用恰当的单词描述物体的颜色。
2.
能利用周围的实物猜测单词的含义,帮助理解、记忆单词。
3.
能与其他同学合作、一起在游戏中学习。
4.
能在色彩缤纷的材料中,感受到颜色的美,发现生活中的颜色美。

五、教学过程
Step I. Pre-task preparation 1. Show students a magic- shake bottles, the water in them changes into different colours. 2. Put up the colour cards and the word cards on the blackboard. 3. Read the words slowly and ask students to repeat. Step II. While-task procedure 1. Give students commands “Show me your …(color) paper.”
and ask students to do the corresponding actions. 2. Play the video and ask students to listen and repeat.
3. Point to the word cards in random order and ask the whole class to read the words. Then ask boys or girls to read. Next, ask students to read group by group. Finally, ask students to read one by one. Pay attention to students’ pronunciation and give them instructions when necessary. 4. Guessing game: Hide one of the eight colored frogs and ask students “What colour is it?”. The student whose guessing is right will hide the next frog. Continue until most students are familiar with the game. Step III. Post-task activities 1. Ask students to play the guessing game in pairs. Invite several pairs to show their game. 2. Match the words with the corresponding colour paper and help the Minions find their own balloons.
