一、

教材分析：

本单元学习的主题是天气情况。主情景图通过展示学生们相互谈论不同地方的天气呈现本单元要学习的核心词汇和句型。

本部分通过天气预报员预报中国几大城市的气温与天气状况，呈现了描述天气特点的形容词cool/cold/hot/warm/weather的词形和意义。

二、

学情分析：

本年级学生通过上一单元有关时间的学习，对数词有比较深刻的印象，能较熟练地听懂温度数值，并能熟练地拼读、听辨出中国大城市的名称，对于各地域的天气特点也有简单了解，能比较轻松地接受本课内容。再加上用不同动作表达本课的四个形容天气的形容词，活跃课堂气氛，通过多感官训练达到能熟练听、说、认读本课新词，听懂简短天气预报和简单陈述某个地方天气情况的教学效果。

教学目标：

1.学生能够听、说、认读本课单词：cool/cold/hot/warm/weather。

2.学生能熟练运用功能句It’s …in…来介绍不同地方的天气特征。

四、

教学重点：

学生能三会掌握本课单词：cool/cold/hot/warm/weather并正确运用所学单词描述天气特征和天气情况。

五、

教学难点：

1.

Warm的发音。

2.

根据温度正确使用本课所学单词描述天气情况。

六、

教学过程：

A.Warm-up: 1.Let’s chant. 2.Free talk: Good morning! Nice to see you again. How are you? What time is it? It's time for English class. Let's read and write. B. Presentation 1.Teach “weather”: Look at the lady.Is she a teacher?→She's a weath-er reporter. She's talking about the weather. Today we'll learn the new unit about the weather.→

板书: Unit 3 Weather 2. Learn the names of cities : Look at the map. There are 4 cities. Which one do you know ? 板书：Beijing/Harbin/Hong kong/Lhasa 3.Teach “warm” :

a. This is the weather reporter . Is it hot in Beijing ? What’s the weather like in Beijing ? 板书”warm”

b. It’s warm in Beijing. Is it warm in Shantou? Mmm ! It’s warm .Take off the coat . c. Look at the map . How about it ? It’s ~ .

4. Teach “hot”: Look at the picture . Is it warm ? →It’s hot . It’s very hot . We can’t touch it . What’s the weather like in Hainan ? It’s hot . It’s hot in Hong kong , too .板书、拼读。

5. Teach“cool”: When it’s hot , we can turn on the fan . Turn on the air-conditioner . Now it’s cool in the room . Look at the picture (下雨图). Is it hot ? Is it warm ? It’s cool . What’s the weather like in Lhasa ? It’s cool .拼读、板书。

6. Teach”cold”:

a. Look at the picture. Is it cool ? No . It’s cold . When it’s cold , put on the hat , cold , bye-bye ! 板书、拼读。

b. Today it’s warm , can we put on the hat ? No , we can take off the hat .

C. Practice 1. Look at the pictures , choose “warm/hot/cool/cold” . 2. Let’s chant .

D. Consolidation 1. Listen and circle . 2. Listen and match . 3. Read , choose and fill .

E. Extension Try to report the weather .

F. Homework: 1. Follow the tape to read “Let’s learn” and ”Let’s chant” at P25. 2. Watch the weather report for today and try to report tomorrow . 板书设计：

教学反思：

本节课围绕天气预报的情景进行教学，通过各种衣着、表情、活动等图片，配合动作、实物展示，让学生多方式感知本节课的词汇：warm/hot/cool/cold，由于准备充分，形式多样，学生学习热情高涨，取得良好的教学效果。但ar在warm中的发音，学生没能熟练、准确地发音，在操练时如果能让学生听老师的发音，判断是否正确能达到更好的效果。

天气预报员的简短报道，只有基础好的学生能流畅地模仿，大多数学生没能一下子就表达出来，在平时的操练中应教给学生听、读三句以上简短语篇的方法。
