Unit 4 My home

一、教学目标

1．能听、说、认读单词study, bathroom, bedroom, living room和kitchen，并能在实际情景中加以运用。

2．掌握句子Where’s Amy? Is she in the study? Yes,she is.并能在实际情境中灵活运用。

3．培养学生对家的热爱。

二、学情分析

四年级的学生经过三年级一年的英语学习，对英语仍保持着较浓厚的兴趣，但也有个别学生已经失去了兴趣。在三年级时已经学习过一般疑问句Is she your mother?及其肯定回答Yes, she is.和否定回答No, she isn’t, 知道一般疑问句需要用升调来读。

三、教学重点

1．能听、说、认读单词study, bathroom, bedroom, living room和

kitchen，并能在实际情景中加以运用。

2．能用简单的语言介绍自己的家，培养学生对家的热爱。

四、教学难点

能理解并会说Where’s Amy? Is she in the study? Yes,she is. 并且在实际情境中灵活运用。

五、教学过程

Step 1 Warm up and lead in 1. Sing a song together. 1. Greeting

T: Good afternoon,boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon. T: Look! Who is she? Ss: She’s Miss Zhang.

T：Where is she? Ss: She is in our classroom./In the classroom. T: Wow! Today so many teachers are in our classroom, let’s say

hello to them. S: Hello! 设计目的：本节公开课有很多老师听课，其中有他们熟悉的张老师，用张老师的照片提出与本课有关的问题，学生用学过的句型回答，可以有效的为一下内容铺垫。

Draw a home on the blackboard. （教授home）

T: Look! It’s my home. My sweet home. Welcome to my home.( PPT呈现home 的图片) 3.

Show the rooms in my home and review the words about rooms

and let’s do. 设计目的：在此环节中，可以用学过的句型对图片进行提问，有效的进行了知识的巩固和拓展，如What’s in the living room? What can I do in the living room?

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Guessing

T: I have a good friend. She is cute. She has two big eyes. She

likes fish. She can help me catch the mice. She sounds like Mew mew mew. Who is She? Ss: A cat. (One stick) 2.

Learning the sentence “Is she in...? Yes, she is. No, she isn’t.”

T: Oh, where is she? Is she in the kitchen? Ss：No, she isn’t. /Yes, she is. T: Where is she now? Is she in the ...? (以此种形式练习句型Is she in the ...?如果学生答对可以在课后得到奖章，累计加章。) 3.

Little Train The teacher show Amy’s cat. Let the students guess where she is. （四组学生，每组第一位学生手持一张房间画，一个接一个问Is she

in the...?下一个回答Yes, she is. No, she isn’t. 并回答。）

Pair work S1: Is she in the ...? S2: Yes, she is./ No, she isn’t. 5.

Watch a video Watch the video of let’s talk T: Is she in the living room？(教师手持房间画，一个房间一个房间练习) Ss: No, she isn’t.

... T：Where is she? Ss: She’s in the kitchen.(Check who is right and get one stick) 6.

Read after video and dub it. 设计目的:鼓励学生给录像配音，锻炼勇气，培养兴趣。

Step 3: Consolidation and extension 1. Teacher prepare a picture book for students. The title is Tree

home.

2. Students read the picture book. After that students answer following questions.(四组，每组解决一个问题，最后一个问题配合音乐)

a. Where is the home？

b. Whose home is it?

c. Dose Zoom find Zip finally?

d. Where is Zip？

show time. (One is director, one is narrator, one
