教师播放歌曲《Father and mother》。

Step 2 Lead in A: Who is that woman?

Is she your mother?. B: No, she isn’t. She is my grandma..

Practice in pairs. One or two group show us.

1．教师出示一张家庭的图片，说：Look, this is my father and mother. Father and mother I love you.教师又说：The first letter of each word can make a new word. What will it be?

Let’s spell together. 领生齐读每个单词的首字母，组成新单词family. 教学单词family. 进一步引出本单元

Step 3 Presentation 的话题Meet my family.教师在PPT上出示一张父母亲的图片，来教授单词parents，教师要给学生区分一下parent与parents的区别。用同样的方法教授单词baby brother，

puppy.

2. 在PPT上展示一家人的图片，然后教师问：How many people are there in your family?

让学生做出回答：Three. My parents and me. 进一步展示一组有四人的图片进一步练习这个句子。教师进一步展示有五个人的家人图片，教师说：My family has five people. 教师进一步引导学生说出这些人物称谓。

3. 教师在PPT上展示不同物体的图片，让学生count，并进一步练习句型How many…are there …?
